Maddy and I were in this tree we found and we were waiting for something to happen. Maddy was going up and down the tree constantly but never too long. Then she came running back and said “Mum there’s people in a truck they said they will take us to a hospital” When she said that I sat up and said “Great um lets go, is it far?” She shook her head and said “You see that blue car over there; the road is close to that.”
It took a while to get down the tree but I made it. We headed to the road, Maddy was leading me. My leg was getting weaker I was starting to need help walking. “Maddy help me.” I said to Maddy. She ran to me to my arm and put it around her shoulders and we continued to walk to the truck. When we go there two men were standing there waiting for us. The two men look quite old and two younger ones. They were definitely Thai. One of them took my hands and my head, while another took my back and star of my legs, one of the younger men took my feet and the last one opened the truck door. They had a large plank of wood in the truck. They carefully put me on the plank of wood and closed the door. Maddy jumped in and sat next to me. The last thing I saw before I fell asleep was Maddy sitting next to me.
