"Alright.. lets split up and cover more ground.. the faster we get out of this house, the better." Dawn decided. "Good idea." May agreed.
The group split up, Dawn, Ash, Togekiss and Infernape headed upstairs. Serena, Shauna and Clemont checked the kitchen, along with Chespin, Ivysaur and Braixen. May and Brendan along with Glaceon and Mightyena, found doors to a basement and decided to investigate there.
"Y'know.. if we are going to find Misty anywhere.. I feel like it'd be the basement." May admitted, using the torch on her phone to find the light switch. "I'd think so too.. god I hope we don't find bodies down here." Brendan cringed.
May finally found the light and switched it on. The basement seemed bare, with a few boxes placed around. "Hmm.. I don't think there's anything down here." The girl admitted, as the group searched. "Thank fuck there's no bodies.." Brendan admitted, causing May to laugh. "What? Walking through this house feels like a real life horror movie." The boy confessed.
May and Brendan spent ten minutes thoroughly searching, through the boxes and the closet in the basement, but found nothing. "Let's head back upstairs." May suggested, as the group began walking upstairs, but they all froze as they heard the front door open fast, with a loud creak.
May and Brendan's eyes widened in fear as they looked at eachother. "I'm telling you Weavile, somebody's here. The electric fence wasn't working and there's a fucking hole in the door." A man growled. "Weavile!!" The Pokemon following him, replied.
May turned to Brendan and mouthed the words, "He's here." Quickly she switched off the light and the group tried to quietly go down the stairs to hide in the basement.
"I'm gonna make sure this intruder regrets their actions..." Paul spoke to his Pokemon, as he could be heard shuffling through a drawer to find something.
He walked past the basement, not questioning it as the doors were closed and the light was off, he assumed it was locked and continued. He also didn't think an intruder would go straight to the basement.
Once Paul and Weavile passed, May, Brendan, Glaceon and Mightyena slowly walked up the stairs, hoping to alert others. "I think he has a weapon." May loudly whispered, as it sounded like he was searching for something.
Shauna, Clemont and Serena searched the bottom floor. Currently Shauna and Clemont were walking through the kitchen to the lounge room, as Serena was already there with the Pokemon.
"We're coming." Clemont said to Serena who'd loudly whispered for them to hurry up. The pair stopped walking as they heard another set of footsteps enter the kitchen. "Who the fuck are you two people?!" The voice growled, as Weavile growled as well.
Shauna and Clemont turned around the face Paul, noticing he held a gun. Shauna's eyes widened, she was about to yell out that he had a weapon, so the others would be alerted, but it was too late, as he fired a bullet at her.
"Shauna!!" Clemont screamed, as a bullet pierced just above her hip. The girl jolted in shock, before falling to her feet. Paul then fired another bullet, this time at Clemont, but it'd just missed him by less than two centimetres. The boy jumped in shock, which made Paul think he shot him too.
The purple haired boy and his Weavile then left the room, heading upstairs at a great speed. "There's gotta be more of them.. I will get the electric fence working again and I will make sure every one of these intruders bleed out to death." He spoke sternly, to Weavile. "Wea, weavile!!" The ice type agreed.
