Chapter 15: Anjelik

((Julie's POV))

I woke up in a daze. There's blood gushing from my nose. The room is spinning. What the fuck happened? Why am I so damned dizzy ...

[Kate]: "She's a little tied up right now. Hello sleepy head."

Everything came rushing back like a movie. Argument ... Sasha crying ... running out in the rain ... fight with Kate ... fucking bitch. I started to scream at her but my mouth wouldn't open. Is that tape? What the fuck? I looked down to see myself strapped to a chair and then back up at Kate to see her on the phone.

[Kate]: "I'm gonna have to call you back." She hung up the phone. MY phone. I gave her a death stare.  "Aw what's the matter? Don't like to be tied up?"

Oh my god ... she's out of her fucking mind. I wiggled, trying to break free. She's got me stuck in this chair pretty good. What is wrong with her!? I tried to yell at her again. Fucking tape!

[Kate]: "No no. Don't go getting feisty with me. You're the reason why Sasha wrecked her car. Now I'm gonna wreck your soul."

What? She crashed? I felt tears forming in my eyes. I need to get out of here as soon as possible. I have to get to her. I tried to break out of the tape again. Jeez how did she get me so wrapped up!? There's duct tape all over me!

[Kate]: "Sorry sweetie but you're not getting out. Now, I'm going to go buy myself a shotgun with some shells, a hacksaw, bleach, a hunting knife, a chainsaw, and nitric acid. Isn't Walmart the absolute best?" My eyes widened. What the fuck is she going to do to me? "You might as well say your prayers. You're catholic right? Oh wait, you can't talk. Whoops." She ripped the tape from my face. I winced in pain.

[Kate]: "Ouch. Did that hurt?"

[Julie]: "Where is she!?"

[Kate]: "Oh like you care."

[Julie]: "Fuck you!"

[Kate]: "Cállate!" I spit in her face and she slapped the shit out of me. "You are so disrespectful!" She plastered more tape over my mouth and tapped my cheek twice. "I'll be back hunnie bun!"

She blew me a kiss before walking out the door with my keys. I can't believe she is so psychotic! Where the hell is Sasha!? I couldn't live with myself if she died before we could make things right between us. All she wanted was to be with me but I kept resisting ... how could I be so selfish? I swear if I make it out of here alive I won't go to Toronto. I'll stay here just for her. Fuck school! I love her with all of me and she's all I need. She's all I want! I just hope it's not too late to tell her how I feel ...

((Sasha's POV))

|20 Minutes earlier|

Ugh ... my head ... my car ... I searched around my upside-down Eclipse for my phone. Got it. I crawled out onto the grass. The smell of gasoline and the sizzling sound of my engine sparked a panic in my brain. I ran as fast as I could to get away from what I knew was coming. I only got a few feet away before I heard the explosion. It was so powerful that it pushed me forward onto my chest. God that hurt ... I guess I'll be taking the bus for a while. Damn ... that could have been so much worse. I heard my phone ringing in the distance. I must have dropped it when I fell. I crawled over to it to see Julie's name on the screen.
