I do something that I wouldn't have thought of doing . . . I have to tell someone.

*Come over?* I text Cara.

*otw. is something wrong?* She texts back almost instantly. I don't respond. What am I doing? Cara is gonna flip out when she finds out. I prepare myself.

*20 minutes later*

I hear someone knock at the door.
"It's for me!" I yell. I go down the stairs and open the door. I practically yank Cara inside and up the stairs.
"What's wrong?" She pants. I ignore her and shut my room door. I take a seat.
"Sit down." I say. I want her to be as calm as possible. She complies.
"W-what's wrong? What's going on, Tay?" She's asks in a confused tone.
"I need you to listen." I say.

"I am." She says while tapping her fingers on the end of my bed

"Stay calm."

"I will."

"Please don't fr-" I stall.

"I won't." She says in an agitated tone. I take a deep breath and lean towards her.
"Luke and I . . . um . . . we-" I stutter.
"Taylor, no you didn't." Cara says in disbelief.
"We did . . . er . . . we are,"
"You're fucking Lu-"
"Shhhh, Cara!" I put my hand over her mouth. I explain to her what's been going on and how I feel.
"What should I do?" I ask.
"I don't know, Taylor. This is something even I can't help." Cara says with her head down. There's a knock at my room door and it opens. I know it's Luke.
"Taylor, I've got this- Oh shit. Hey, Cara. I'll j-just go." He says while backing out of my room. I'm as red as a damn tomato. Dammit.
"No, Luke. Why don't I leave and you and Taylor just-"
"Cara!" I almost yell. Luke closes the door. Cara stands up.
"Why did you do that, Cara?" I get a little upset.
"I'm sorry, Taylor. I was just-"
"I'm tired. I'm gonna go to bed. Maybe you can come back tomorrow." I catch an attitude. Cara opens the door and looks back at me.
"I'll lock the door in a minute. You can go ahead." I dryly say. As soon as the front door closes, my room door opens.
"Luke,-"
"You told her? Why? Cara is gonna tell everyone." Luke runs his hands through his hair.
"Luke, relax." I say and put my hand on his shoulder. I run my hand along his cheek. He steps back and turns away from me.
"It's oooookay. Calm down." I assure him.
"I am calm."
"Okay." I say. Why is he acting so weird? What's so wrong if one person knows? Even a few?
No.
Stop it, Taylor.
No one can know.
"What time is it?" I ask. Luke checks his phone.
"11:48"
"My mom and your dad are asleep," I step towards him.
"Okay . . .?"
"You're already in my room." I step even closer.
"Mhm . . . I'm following,"
"We can shut the door." I whisper.
"And I'll do that right now." Luke dashes to close the door. I sit down.
"Mhm, now what?" Luke cockily asks. I pull him onto my bed. Damn, this creaky bed.
"Oh shit. Shh. My mom cannot hear us." I say. Luke starts kissing my neck. He doesn't care. From the way he's kissing my neck, I don't either.
"mmm" slips out.
"Sh sh sh, Taylor. Gotta stay quiet." Luke whispers. He grabs the hem of my shirt. I let him go ahead and take it off followed by his own shirt. He starts harshly sucking on the skin on my chest.
"It's gonna be kinda hard for people not to know with these all over me." I say as I motion towards the forming hickeys. We flip over so I'm on top. I decide to get a little scandalous and give him some hickeys in return.
"Dammit, Taylor." Luke says between his teeth. He flips us back over and grabs the hem of my panties.
"N-Not tonight, L-Luke." I finally get out. Luke sits up and pulls my up by my arms.
"Come on, Taylor." Luke grabs the small of my back and slides me closer to him.
"I'm serious, Luke." I trail my fingers down his chest.
"Maybe tomorrow . . . maybe." I push my hair behind my ear. I nudge Luke off of my bed and he stands up.
"We're finishing this tomorrow." Luke says as he backs out of my room.
"Goodnight, Luke." I sing. Luke jerks me forward. He grabs my cheeks and kisses me.
"I guess that's goodnight." I whisper. Luke steps out of my room and I close the door softly so our parents don't hear. My phone screen lights up.

Tomorrow ;)

Luke texts.

I honestly can't take you seriously with a winky face. And I said maaaaybe.

I text back.

We all know that's mean yes.

Luke responds almost instantaneously.

I actually think it's a no now. No more for you...

I smirk and turn my phone off. I'm so ready to see Luke tomorrow morning.

*the next morning*

I wake up to a note on my bedside table.

Left early :) There's baked tilapia in the oven for lunch.
~Mom

I slip on a muscle tee so my sides are out and a pair of track shorts. I do my normal routine and turn on some music. While dancing around like an idiot (as per usual), I knock my lamp off of the bedside table and the bulb breaks.
"Shit!" I say. I clean up the glass and head downstairs to get a new bulb. I open my door and Luke fills the doorframe.
"Dammit, Luke. You scared me. Now, move." I say as I try to go under his arm that's pressed against the frame.
"No more for me, huh?" He says as he observes my attire.
"That's what I said, is it not?" I twist my sock into the rug. Luke backs me back into the room and shuts the door.
"I don't think so." Luke says. He sweeps me up and puts me on the bed.
"Say it again, and I'll get up and leave right now." Luke says into my neck.
"Shut up, Luke." I breathe. Luke rubs my back through the cut out sides of my muscle tee. Goosebumps rise on my skin. Luke slowly breathes on my skin, barely making contact. He plants a single kiss on my neck before standing up.
"What the helllll?" I sit up and say.
"No more for you." He says and walks out of my room.

It's so on.
