*This part is gonna have a little smut so yeah.*
Cara told me to ask you
"What the fuck?!" I almost yell. I slam my phone downwards. I can't even think of a response to my friend.
"Taylor, please calm down." Luke says while he rubs my shoulders from both sides. I step away and pace back and forth.
All of the things I've fucking told her. She was the one I called when Luke and I were going through a lot of shit. This is how she fucking repays me? I listen to all of her issues at home and even now, I would never tell anyone about that. I can't believe someone I trusted so much would do that to me. I'm so livid right now.
"Please don't touch me right now. I'm really pissed." I say in a calmer, but still irritated tone.
"My mom and Cara's mom are friends. What if she fucking tells her? What would happen then?" I say. Tears fill my eyes.
"No, don't cry. Don't be sad." Luke awkwardly says. I can tell he doesn't know what to say to me.
"No, I'm not sad. It's just," It's just that I don't want anything else to come between us again.
"It's just . . . I like you." Yep. That's it.
I put my hand on my forehead. Luke smiles at me.
"Don't worry, I like you too, Taylor." He affrims.
"What are we going to do?" I ask. Luke presses his lips together and leans against the counter.
"Maybe . . . if we just go ahead and tell our friends and stuff, she won't have anything to tell." Luke interjects. Huh?
I look up.
"Really? What do you think they'll say? That's a little bit weird. Our parents are married." I question.
"But wouldn't you rather us tell people the truth, rather that Cara have the chance to exaggerate and make it what she wants it to be?" Luke says. He makes a good point. Luke can actually be really smart sometimes.
"That's actually really true." I confess.
"So, how are we gonna do this? We could just post a picture or something." I propose.
"Okay. I'll just caption it . . . with a heart? Or something of that sort." Luke says as he takes his phone out. I walk over to him and sit on his lap.
"Are we taking the picture like this?" He asks all confused.
" . . . yes? This is what I normally do." I say.
"I'm gonna put my head down like I don't wanna take the picture or something and just look at the camera." I say and do as I stated. Luke follows his directions and goes to the caption part.
"I'm not gonna caption it. They can figure it out." Luke says as he posts and puts his phone down.
"Now . . ." He says and he starts to stand up. I start to get up, but he grabs my thighs.
"Wrap your legs around me." He whispers. I wrap my legs around him and he carries me to the couch.
"We never really did finish what was going on earlier." I say and I slide my loose shirt off. I stand up and softly push him back on the couch. I sit back on his lap and kiss him.
He grabs my back and starts attacking my lips. I pull back for a split second.
"Luke," I breathe. I just want to know, what are we making so official? What are we?
"Yeah?" He pauses and looks me in the eyes.
"Never mind." I say. I don't want to mess anything up. I like things just the way they are. I go back to kissing him and reach for his shirt. He lets me pull it off and we flip over so I'm below him.
I'm starting to get nervous. What are people going to say? My reputation is going down the fucking toilet. Oh my gosh.
"What?" Luke breathes.
You know what? I honestly don't care.
"Nothing." I say and try to continue. Luke stops and pulls me up with him.
"Tell me what's bothering you." He says.
"Nothing is bothering me." I lie.
"Taylor . . . what's a relationship without trust?" Luke half chuckles. Well, he's answered one of my questions.
"Luke, I don't want you be upset with me and please, please don't take this the wrong way." I try to ease what I'm about to say. He nods and gestures for me to continue.
"People know me as being a very good girl, you know? My school friends expect me to act a certain way and they talk a lot. I don't like being the center of attention." I say. Luke scans my face and sees the worry.
"I understand that, Taylor, but if they're willing to judge you and talk shit about you because of who you choose to be with, they're shit friends. They're shit people to be perfectly honest. It's all your choice. You really need to learn to make things all about you sometimes."
"I'm just not used to all of the unwanted attention . . . but I guess I can live with it." I shrug. Luke leans towards me so I fall backwards.
"You. Can. Live. With. It." Luke says in between kisses.
"I can?" I breathe.
"You can and you will." Luke assures me.
"Okay." I say. Luke reaches for the button on my pants, but I stop him.
"Take me to your bed." I whisper. Luke complies and scoops me up. He takes me upstairs and places me on the bed. I push my jeans down and kick them to the side while Luke removes his shirt and pants. This is kind of awkward in the complete light. It's like I can see all of the details I didn't notice before. Luke crawls on top of me and slips his hand in my underwear.
"Already?" He asks and I know exactly what he's referring to. I reach my hand down and palm him.
"Already?" I ask. He chuckles and gets a little more aggressive. He leaves some marks on my neck before unclasping my hook-in-the-front bra. I throw the bra elsewhere and start to pull my underwear down. Luke does the same and grabs a condom out of his nightstand. I help slide it onto him. Isn't that what I'm supposed to do?
Come on, Taylor. You've done this before. Get your head in the game.
I don't know why it feels so different this time. Luke pumps himself a few times before lining himself up with me. I exhale as he slides into me. I make a few noises here and there, but it's relatively quiet. I don't know why, but I feel so close to him right now. Not physically, but mentally as well. His paces picks up and he starts breathing a little harder.
"Luke," I exhale.
"I know, Taylor." He replies. My body involuntarily jumps and soon, my legs feel like jelly. Luke slows down and then still. After stilling, he slides out, discards the condom, and lies next to me.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask. Luke clears his throat.
"I-I don't know." He seems a little embarrassed.
*buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz*
I lean over him and grab my phone.
"Hello?" I answer.
"You and Luke?!" My friend, Rue, exclaims. I mute the phone.
"She asked me about us!" I tell Luke.
"Calm down. Just act totally casual." He instructs me. I unmute the phone and relax.
"Yeah." I say.
"Since when?!" She yells even more.
"Taylor, he's really no good. He plays everyone." She tells me. I'm started to get a little pissed off. I don't need people telling me how to live my own life and I definitely don't need tips for my love life.
"Look, Rue. I appreciate the concern, but I can handle this by myself. I'm almost 17 years old. It's fine." I say with a little bit of an attitude. She hangs up right in my face!
"She hung up." I tell Luke. I put my face in the pillow.
"Well, fuck it." Luke replies. I don't want to lose friends over this. But I'm not losing Luke over this either.
