To get the acceleration of an object, we must use the formula Vfminus V idivided by t, wherein Vf stands for Final Velocity with the unit of m/s, Vicorresponds to Initial Velocity with the same unit of m/s and finally t which is referred to as Time with the unit of s."

The Vf is 24 m/s, East while the Vi is 0 since the truck was at rest before it moved, and finally the t is 30 seconds. Now, applying the formula, we must first deduct Vf with Vi. Therefore, 24 m/s, East minus 0. And the answer would be, of course, 24 m/s, East. Then, when we have the difference, we must divide it with t, which means; 24 m/s, East divided by 30 seconds. And we can now get the truck's acceleration which is..."
