A/N chapter 5! This is my last pre-written chapter so updates might be a bit slower. I know this is a short chapter, but I thought the ending for it was PERF! Well it wasn't happy, but you'll see what I mean. Hopefully. Remember to vote, and review. As always I will thank you for the criticism. And a special thanks to _HaleyRyan_ and Unstoppable35 for the reviews. Love you guys.

Chapter 5

Riley's POV

We walked into the dance, and we were greeted by a lot of staring faces. I don't blame them either. It's not everyday that you see a Soc with a Greaser. I may not technically be a Soc, but I do look like one. I don't regret looking like a Soc though. Maybe it's time that the citizens of Tulsa see that the amount of money you have doesn't mean that you can't be friends with people in different social classes, but I doubt that if I hang out with greasers I'll change their mind. The people around me are pretty bad whisperers too.

"She's a tramp. Sleepin' off with them no good greasers like that." Rachel half-whispered to her friend. We haven't really been getting along ever since I started hanging out with Haley.

"Ya know you ain't very good at whispering, and I don't think I'm the one who you should be calling a tramp when you're the one cheating on your boyfriend," I whisper yelled to her.

"How'd you know that?!" She asked me furiously.

"I guessed," I said to her with a fake smile. I left with Ponyboy, leaving those Socs with their angry/dumbfounded looks. Ponyboy smiled at me and shook his head. "What?" I asked him innocently.

"Ya know that mouth is gonna get you in trouble one day," he told me while smiling his adorable smile.

"Two-bit told me the exact same thing when them Socs tried to jump us. I told him what I'm telling you now, it already has." I replied matter-of-factly.

"You're somethin' else. Ya know that?" He asked me while handing me a cup of punch. I took a drink and replied.

"Oh, I know, but in a good way right?" I asked while walking outside towards the school's fountain. We sat down on its edge, before he replied.

"Yeah, in a good way," I found we were sitting really close, as in 'sides pretty much touching' close, but I wasn't uncomfortable. He started leaning in, and just then Haley and Amy walked out to join us. I was glad. I mean I like Pony. A lot. I just don't think i want a boyfriend right now. I'm not ready yet. They were laughing about something together. Probably a dirty comment that Haley made. That's what I liked about Haley, her sense of humor. We pulled back quick.

"Oh hey guys!" Amy said. Pony blushed probably hoping that she didn't see anything. I don't think she did. If she had then they would've gasped, or wolf whistled, or done anything to embarrass us. It takes a lot to embarrass me though.

"Hey!" I replied quickly to try and distract them from Pony's blushing.

"What are you guys doing out here?" Haley asked.

"Oh just hangin' out. Watching the sunset," I told her.

"Oh?"Amy replied.

"Yeah ain't it beautiful?" I said smiling, looking up at the colorful sky, and the setting sun.

"I guess. I you're into that kind if stuff," Haley said.

"Who doesn't like sunsets?" I asked surprised by her response.

"I don't know. You know, you and pony are just alike," she said. I looked at Pony, then asked,

"How so?"
