Chapter 3 fanfic

Riley's POV

Finally 1st period was over. It seemed like it would never end with Rachel who wouldn't shut up.

"Hey, wait up!" That doesn't sound like Rachel. "So you're Riley right?" I was right. It wasn't Rachel. It was a girl with hair a little lighter than mine, it was teased, and went a little above her shoulders, blue eyes (of course), and she was wearing some faded denim capris with an old blue plaid shirt tied back, she had a little too much silver eyeshadow on too, when she was in front of me she was about an inch or two taller.

"Yeah, who are you?"

"Oh I'm Haley, what were you doing with that no good Soc? Ya don't look like one."

"To be honest, I didn't want to be"

"Then why were ya?" She said smacking on her gum.

"Oh, uh I don't know. I just was."

"Whatever. I would suggest you stay away from them Socs. They'll turn around and backstab ya faster than you can say...Soc.

"So why 'Soc'. I mean I get greaser. 'Cause of the grease in their hair, but why Soc?"

"Soc is short for social, and they are social." She said chewing her gum the entire time.

"Makes sense, so then what am I?"

"Well where do ya live?"

"I live on the corner of West Boulevard and 3rd street."

"Then you're a regular. Not in the east not in the west. In between. What class do you have next?"

"Here," I said handing her my schedule.

"Huh, We have all our classes together. I don't have all my classes with anyone 'cept you." I like this girl she looked cheery, fun. And she wasn't stuck up.

"Hey babe!" I didn't know the guy, but he was blond, with greased back hair, and hazel eyes. I have to admit he was kinda cute.

"Oh shut ya trap Tony!" Haley said with a disgusted look on her face. "That's Tony. The most perverted boy in the tenth grade. "

"And who are you good-lookin'?" He said putting his arm on me while me and Haley were walking to Social Studies.

"Oh leave the poor girl alone!" Haley said. I lifted his arm off of my shoulder with two fingers.

"Don't put your arm around me, and my name is not 'good-lookin'." I said seriously.

"I like this one pretty and tuff. Go to go. Bye goo- wait what was your name?" He asked while walking backwards with ease.

"Haha, wouldn't you like to know,"I said sarcastically.

"See ya!" He said.

"What a Ditz." I said rolling my eyes.

"True, but ya gotta admit. He's cute!"

"Whatever," I said trying to hold back a smile.

Pony's POV

I walked into 2nd period Social Studies, and there she was. Riley. She was sitting beside Haley a greaser girl. There were whispering and laughing with each other

Her smile brightened a little when she saw me. If that's even possible.

"Hey...Pony." She said in between laughs. I could tell they were going to get along.
