Chapter 5

When I arrived back at the common room there was a party with a banner saying ‘Good Job Serenity’ on it, it was horrible. It wasn’t a big deal about the singing. Dean and Neville put me on there shoulders while everyone was high five me. I saw a ginger sitting at the window looking outside. It was Ron of course, I asked the boys to put me down so I could go over to see Ron. “Hey Ron have fun at the dance” I asked while I took a seat in front of him and the window. Ron didn’t answer he just told me to look outside. I looked out the window to watch the second act of the scene by the water. Hermione was yelling at him plus she just kept slapping him on his face, they looked up to see me and Ron watching them. We both had cold hard masks upon our faces when we were watching them “so how much did you see of ‘that’” I said with a dead tone in my voice “I looked to see them kiss then you walking over and witnessing it then Hermione started slapping him” he said “yeah well your brother has done enough to me already, I guess the kiss with me and Viktor made him get me back” I said while a tear trickled down my cheek.

Fred was watching Hermione walk away; then he looked up to watch me and Ron “you didn’t deserve to get dumped like dirt and just because you kissed Krum doesn’t give my brother the right to kiss the girl I like” he said “so you finally admit you like Hermione” I said with a proud voice “yes now don’t tell a soul” Fred was walking back to the castle by now.

Ron and I kept talking until Hermione burst into the common room then straight over to me “Serena I am so sorry for what happened the bloody git kissed me, I thought it would be Ron because of the hair but I didn’t realize it till I seen his face and that’s when you came and seen what happened. I know it doesn’t sound like a legitimate story but please forgive me it’s all true” she said in a rush but as they say ‘clothes over bros’ I didn’t blame Hermione at all for what happened so I told her I forgave her and were still best friends. She was happy.

By this time Fred came in and walked over to us. Hermione left but Ron stayed “little brother why don’t you go play some chess while me and Serena talk” Fred said with a hit of jealousy “bloody hell I will ‘brother’! You hurt Serena far to many times so I’m not leaving specially after you stabbed me right in the back!” he said while staring at Fred ‘if looks could kill’ I thought but I had to break this little stare back thing going on “what ever you have to say you can say in front of Ron, so what do you want” I said with malison in my voice “I’m sorry for everything that happened specially what happened at the lake I love you” he said but

I just started tearing up and they just pored out “I don’t b-believe one word you s-say to m-me Fred b-because n-nothing you say will make me l-love you a-again j-just s-stop loving m-me” I stuttered with tears. Then we started to fight which involved me trying to get Fred jealous and kissing Viktor. “Fred when it started I ended it because I still loved you!” I said and he just threw everything in my face and blurted out my secrets “Well at least I’m not an ugly damn Vampryss and Metamorphagus that changes into a pale, dead looking git at night and hides in her room for a week because one boy didn’t want to kiss her for a change!” he yelled at me but as soon as he said my secrets everyone gasped and he looked taken back “I-I’m so sorry Serena that just came out I didn’t mean it” he whispered and by this point I was sobbing none stop. A few girls came to comfort me but I looked at him and said “you know what you know you regret what you say when this happens” and everyone thought I’d use magic but nope I did it the old fashioned way.

I bitch slapped him across the face, kneed him in the jewels. He fell to the floor holding him self so I took this special opening and started punching him in the face, stomach, and broke his nose. By this time I had bloody knuckles and just walked up to my room and left everyone speechless. Hermione was the only one to come follow me to my room.
