Chapter 27) My Confused Family

Previously....

I went and sat in the seat next to her so I wasn't at the end of the bed and so that I didn't make her self conscious. Hope screamed and Jamie ran to her side holding her hand, Hope screamed again but reached out towards me with her other hand, I grasped it and held her hand for the first time in my life.

The nurse came running in and told Hope it was time to push..

Time to bring another child into this mucked up world.

Mums been screaming for the past half an hour trying to push the baby out of her, Now and again I take a peak to see if I could see the baby head, I could see the rim of the head and that's it. Its kind of making me nervous watching Hope um I mean Mum giving birth, I didn't think it would hurt as much as it looks right now.

After panting, Mum strains pushing as hard as she can, and Jamie puts in a little funny comment like 'Wacth out you might cr*p yourself' which got laughs from me and the midwife but a major glare off of Mum. I think I get my killer looks from her.

After another 10 minutes of pushing, The babies nearly here, I peek at the bottom of the bed and see that Mums only got to push a little bit more because its past the baby shoulders, The midwife said the head and shoulders are the hardest part, Mum pushed one more time and suddenly you could here a new born baby screaming, Mum sighing in relief and Jamie cheering.

"Here we go a baby boy!" The midwife announced.

"Do you want to hold him?" The nurse said whilst wrapping my beautiful baby brother in a blue fluffy blanket.

"Yes!" Hope cheered.

She took the baby into her arms and started sobbing, Whilst stroking the angels face she looked up at me and said she was 'Sorry'

"Kara, Honey I am so sorry that I hav-"

"Forget about it, Its gone now lets look into the future and forget about the past and its not the time or place to talk about this now is it? I love you even though you have done this but at least I have a family now and a beautiful Brother!" I interrupted crying.

"Thank you Kara, Do you want to hold him?" She asked.

"I haven't even held him yet Hope!" Jamie laughed.

"Well Suck it up!" Hope laughed.

She passed me my brother and I rested him in my arms humming a lullaby, He was beautiful, He's stopped crying at this moment just staring at me with his big brown eyes, I touched his delicate little fingers and they automatically wrapped around my thumb, Tough grip.

"What's his name?" I asked smiling looking between Jamie and Hope.

"Charlie, After your father.." Jamie smiled.

My beautiful brother Charlie...

At this moment I have made up my mind, I am not going to get rid of Jeremy's baby, I will love it either way. Im excited to have my own baby... Technically it will be mine and Jake's child...

Our beautiful baby boy or girl.. I know that Charlie and my child will be very close, Because I'm not going to let Hope not be in touch with me again...

I love my little confused family.

Me, Jake, Our Baby, Mum, Jamie & Charlie.

I have a good feeling that my Dad will be looking after Me and the babies from now on...
