Chapter 23) Time to do you're Job Kara

*Randomers POV*

I've been running for about 45 minutes now, I can't wait to get home and have a nice bath. Hopefully Kyle has got the kids to bed, knowing him they're probably all drinking Coke screaming and running around the house.

Come on Steph, 15 more minutes and then your home, you can do it I keep chanting to myself. I need to lose weight to fit into this dress. Well let's just say I've definitely put on weight since having the kids, I used to be size 6 but now I'm a 12 and needing to be smaller. My stomach is becoming too visible for my liking. My stomach bounces around as I jog causing me to be a little bit conscience of how I ran.

No Bread, no Beer, no Cake, but my family would surely continue eating it and I would be in pure misery watching them eat it.

No Nothing... Well maybe a secret smoke now and again when Kyle wasn't looking. What's his deal with Smoking? Yeah, I know it destroys your lungs slowly killing you, but if you only have a few smokes at a time it shouldn't do any harm but I know Kyle doesn't see it that way.

I nearly trip over something on my way home. 'Stupid shoe laces,' I think to myself. I kneel down to tie my shoes and hear rustling in the woods. I can smell a horrible aroma. I slowly get up and walk towards the outskirts of the woods. Then something grabbed my ankle causing me to fall. I caught myself with my hands and pushed myself up. I screamed when I saw a hand gripping my ankle. I pulled my leg back forcefully, yanking my skin and bones free of the grip. Blood specked the ground and was shocked at what I had just seen. Who would do something like this? I screamed and ran away! Who could do this? The damage on the body was indescribable. And I was only seeing half of it. I sprinted all the way to the police station and ran into the police station to report this, this crime. The murder I had seen. I don't think I will ever get this out of my head. I can feel in my head that I am badly shaken up.

I think I'm going to be sick.

I ask the nearest officer where the restrooms are and when he replies I take off running for them. I burst through the door and then shove open the stall before losing all my food that I had eaten today. I needed to call Kyle let him know that I was okay, because I should've been home by now. But I couldn't find anything in me to talk to him, or tell him what I had seen. I just hoped that Kyle wouldn't worry too much.

*Kara's POV*

I just got the news that Jeremy has done a runner, Well good ridens to him! He can go fall off a cliff all i care really.

"Kara get down here now!" Ryan screamed from down stairs.

I wonder whats wrong because he used his Alpha voice tone , and I know that he only uses it when major shizz goes down. I ran down the stairs into the Living area and looked towards the TV to see a NEWS FLASH on the screen.

NEWS REPORTER:

" We are live in the woods of Demonclaw, With some shocking news, Lets just say after you hear what Im about to say you'll probably think that Demonclaw has a deeper meaning than just a town name. Late last night a young girl around the age of 17 was brutely killed, But the difference with this case with others is that her body was left in a devistating way, Half her body was found on the outskirts and the Police are still looking for the other half of her body, But thats not it the young girls insids were missing, Now suspisions have gone to a bear like creature, But knowing that Demonclaw is sometimes infested with Wolves we are not sure, but the police are getting in perfessional hunters to come to our town to find this beast."

"WAIT, WAIT WAIT THERES ANOTHER BODY HERE!" A police man screamed.

NEWS REPORTER:

"Oh gosh, They have found another body, This is CBS and we are first on the case, We just saw the body and it is a young man around the age of early 20's, We are not sure whether they were together bu-"

"Please turn the camera off, NOW!" The police man screamed at the reporter pushing the camera out of the way.

"Hi My name is Lisa Cim and were from CBS can you tell me what the body of the male is like?"

"No, Now!" The police man growled.

"Ok Viewers my name is Lisa Cim and this was the CBS news, Back to the studio..."

After that the TV was turned off.

"Ok, If I FIND OUT THAT ANY OF YOU DID THIS YOU ARE GOING TO BE KICKED OFF OF THE PACK, NOW WHO DID THIS?!" Ryan screamed.

No- one spoke up, Minutes passed until Jake raised his hand, Oh no please say he didnt do this?!

"Ryan Buddy, Think about it Jeremy runs off from killing Kara's Dad and the baby and you really have to think about who did this?" Jake questioned.

"Your right, Kara its time to do your'e job go inform the other packs at Demonclaw that professional hunters are coming to town and for them to stay clear from the woods!" Ryan asked me.

"What do you mean its my job?" I questioned.

"Your the pack messenger to go from pack to pack?" He questioned.

"Oh yeah sorry, But um Ryan how do I get to the pack?"

"You fly of course!" He laughed.

Ummm... Fly? Ho-ho-How do I fly?

"How do I fl-f-fly?" I stuttered.

"Just think happy thoughts, hah im just kidding your not Peter Pan, Just only think about it blank your mind and you'll just be able to do it!" He laughed.

Ok Blank my mind thats all I have to do.

"Ok but what about the baby? and can I go get changed into some sweats?" I asked.

"Did you not read the Wolf Legends book?" He said sarcasticly

"Umm.. No?"

"If your pregnant and fly your stomach will shrink, so that its easier for you to fly?"

"Oh yeah, Im going to get changed."

I ran upstairs and put on some shorts, a tank top and my Chuck Taylors. Ok by Baby bump for an hour or so.

I ran down the stairs to the living room and no one was there, I guess the've gone back to doing their normal routines. I step out side and command my wings to be released, They fluttered open, Think clear thought, blank your'e mind. A pain began in my stomach I looked down and saw my stomach deflatting, I touched my stomach and it felt like I wasnt even pregnant. My wings began to flap which made everything windy the tree's blew around and my hair blew into my face, I looked down and my feet were no longer touching the floor I was hovering.
