When Delilah was 10 she had her first "love". Each afternoon they would skip into Delilahs backyard and sit under her large gum tree where they would share stories and sneak kisses on the cheek.
When Delilah turned 12 she bought her first bra. Each night she would hand wash it the sink so her parents wouldn't find it, she would then put the damp bra on the next morning and ignore the chaffing.
When Delilah was 14 she found her first stretch mark. Each morning she would gently cry as she smeared some coconut oil over the pink streaks in hopes of them disappearing.
When Delilah was 16 she joined her first gym. Each night she would walk into the 24 hour gym in hopes of achieving a thigh gap and flat stomach.
When Delilah was 18 she met her first bad boy. Each afternoon he would text her some encouragement; you better go to the gym, your "curves" can be a pretty big turn off.
When Delilah was 20 she threw her hands up in the air and said, "fuck it, i am Delilah and i am beautiful" before stepping into the restaurant where her then blind date, now husband, was waiting.
