"I wish i could go back and tell myself what i know now"

"Good morning Mr. Black how was your meeting this morning Sir?" My assistant marget asked me as soon as I step off of the elevator

"Good morning marget, my meeting went better than I expected but still long, how is your morning going?" I say losing up my suit tie and undoing my jacket.

"Very well Sir, Steven left at 5 O'clock this morning it was what you would call very emotional sort to say" she say the last part as her voice wavers a little .

"Glad to hear that everything is going good for you marget" I say with an sadistic smile

" Thank you Sir, here's your coffee, you have an interview for my replacement at 9 O'clock, Ugen Smith is waiting for you in your office, you have lunch with your mother at 1:30, also the files you requested from accounting should be on your desk." she says getting right into business.

"thank you marget, I don't know what I'll do when your gone" I smile at her

"Your welcome sir but I'm very sure that you'll be happy with my replacement." she says with excitement in her voice

"Well see" I say as I make my way to my office.

I never wanted to take over my father's business, I never wanted them, I was only interested in my own business, but things happen and here I am. I've only been here for a month and its been hard trying to figure out how everything ran. me and my father's businesses were very different. Not only in product but just in general things as well. my father business had to do with entertainment. He owned clubs, bars, movie theaters, and a couple shopping centers around the worldMine on the other hand was more two sided.   On the outside I owned restaurants, and more then enough clubs. But on the other side I was what most would call a boss, a killer. The other side is what I like to call the dark side. The one that's filled with secrets only the most trusted was made aware of.

My father has stage 3 cancer he was very particularly on who he wanted to run his company. as always it was me, well because he only has one other son. My younger brother Emmett, and he's to young to run the company when our father steps down. although my father isn't dead he has  decided that stepped down from his CEO position and giving it to me will be whats best option. Running my own business has given me a better understanding of what my father was trying to tell me ever since I was young, running a business takes a lot of work and countless working hours. Within the first couple of week of me running my own business I was clocking in  from 5 in the morning to 9 at night everyday just to get thing up and running.  I still haven't got everything in place for me taking over my fathers  business.
