Chapter 10: Bro vs. Sis

Caleb's POV:
As we're in the hideout, our dad replays the news report of us on the main screen. "I think they did an amazing job, don't you think so Mr. Johnson?" Henry says. "I think ..." he pauses for a few seconds, "they did FANTASTIC! Where did you learn to make a tsunami?" Dad asks Leyla.

"It kind of just came to me." she says blushing. "And you guys making that enormous forcefield. Amazing! I have trained y'all well, so far." "Well you see you gotta-" I cover Brandon's mouth before he can start bragging. "Don't we need to go back to school?" I ask, knowing the school was just on fire. "Well, not until they repair the school, so no 'regular' school for a while." Dad says putting emphasis on regular.

"What do you mean by regular?" Brandon asks. "Superhero school has just begun." my dad says. "Come on, to the combat room!"

"Time to fight!" Dad says excitedly. "Just no weapons." He adds. We all change into out suits. "Ok Caleb, you can versus-" he looks at the other three, looking of any sign of not wanting to fight. "Leyla. Come on in the arena." We walk in and get ready to attack. "And remember," my dad says through the speakers on the walls, "NO weapons."

"READY .... SET," I think to my self Leyla is going down! " .... GO !!!" Dad yells through the intercom. I start flying as soon as possible, to get height advantage. But Leyla was ready for that, and she made a pillar of ice to the same height I was flying. I constantly beam the pillar with lasers while she's throwing icicle spears at me.

Dodging and constantly having a laser going, not easy. When I broke through, Leyla lost her balance and fell off the pillar. She threw a bubble of water; when it hit the ground it turned the ground into a sea of water. She dived straight into the water. I couldn't see her, so I kept flying in circles around the room.

When she came up, the water moved with her and she moved directly to my height. "Sorry." She said. Then, all the water turned into water spikes aimed at me. "Oh shoot!" I scream. When Leyla shoots them all I try shooting them. Doesn't work as I hope. I get hit at least 200 times before falling to the ground.

Before I can even get up, she freezes me on the ground. "I win." She says, opening the door for the others to walk in. "Leyla that was amazing!" Dad says hugging her. "Dad ... can't ... breath." "Oh, sorry honey." "Can you unfreeze me?" I yell at her. "Whats the magic word?" She asks. "Please?!" I say annoyed. She snaps her fingers, and the ice suddenly drowns me.

"Hey!" I yell. "Opps, sorry." She says girly. "Anyway are we going to battle?" Brandon and Anthony ask together. "No, I don't think my children have enough energy to watch. You guys will battle next time. For now, trainings over."
