Chapter 12: More Items, Really!

Caleb's POV:
When we fly through the hole into the hideout, I land, and fall on the ground, exhausted. "Ok Caleb, let me see your burns." Leyla says, grabbing her whip. I lay on the couch and show her my burns.

"Looks serious, but not to worry! I can help." She places the bubble of water on her whip on my chest. It expands to cover my burns. Then, my sister closes her eyes, and focuses. After a few seconds, the water begins to glow, and my chest starts hurting less and less.

When she opens her eyes, all the burns were healed, and the bubble returns to normal. "Looks healed. Ok Brandon, your turn." I get up and Brandon takes my place. "Oooo, did Katlin get you?" Leyla asks while placing the bubble on his chest. "Yeah, it stings a lot." "Probably because it's infected." "How do you know?" Brandon questions. "Because I can see the infection, one the perks of being healer." "Oh." "Don't worry, I can get rid of that."

My sister closes her eyes again. The water begins to glow, and Brandons scratches fade away. "Alright, all done!" Leyla says carefully taking off her whip. "Thank you, I feel a lot better now."

We stand there for a second. "Oh yeah, Brandon place the jem here." Anthony says while pressing a button. All of a sudden, a platform, the size of a plate, rises up from the floor in the middle of the room. Brandon gets up and places the bag on the platform. The electricity disappears and the jem is left on the platform.

"Thank you." and Anthony presses a button. The platform lowers into the floor, then appears in a tube right next to the supercomputer keyboard. "Ok, lets see your history." Anthony says typing away. Pictures of it appear on the screen and Henry starts talking. "This is the Dark gem. Has the power to make and control darkness. It was once owned by James Wall." "That's who their trying to revive." Anthony adds on. "Yes, they already have two of the five things they need to revive him."

"Two?! I thought we stopped them from collecting the gem?!" I exclaim. "You did. They also need themselves to bring him back to life." "Oh ..." I say closing my mouth. "Anyway, they still need a Life leaf and a Revival rock." "What do those things look like, and where can we find them?" Anthony asks. "I can tell you they're not close, but pictures are easy." Then a picture of a pure white leaf with the stalks gold appears on the screen.

"This is a Life leaf. They grow only on one tree in the world. It is in Washington." "D.C.?" Brandon asks. "No, Washington state. And this is a Revival rock." Then a normal looking rock appears, except it has two rings of light circling around it.

"It has two rings of energy circling the rock. It can be found in the Grand canyon, in the Colorado river." "Two not close places, but we need to get these items before them." I say. "Ok, so who's going to Washington and who's going to Arizona?" Leyla asks me. "You and Brandon go to the Grand Canyon, while me and Anthony will go to Washington." I say. "Ready to go?" I ask the others. "Yeah." "Sure." "Ready!" They all say. "Ok then,-" I press the button and the roof opens. "lets go!"

We fly through the top and we wait at the exit at the hole. We all have the same idea. "GO HEROS!" we all say, all high fiveing.
