chapter 9: fine

"hyung...stop it, he can't see you, y'know...it's too dark" yixing sighed at baekhyun who kept ruffling his hair and straighten his clothes.

"you don't know that, maybe~.." baekhyun frantically bit his lip as he tip toed to see the stage.

"we're so lucky with our places though!look how close to the stage we are!" baekhyun said excited.

"i guess so"

A loud noise sounded through the place and the intro of a song started playing really loudly.

Yixing pressed his hands against his ears to protect his hearing, but his friend was too busy fangirling and dancing to notice his struggles.

lights switched on and off and on again and finally fixed on a few spots on the wide stage.

suddenly a couple of people jumped onto the stage and everyone started cheering, so they must be the ekso, yixing thought.

the music stopped and the people, who as he noticed were all male, walked closer to the audience and bowed

"Annyeonghaseyo Seoul!  WE ARE ONE!  EXO!" they all shouted in sinc

"how are you all doin?!" one of them shouted and he grinned at the screams of the crowd

"SARANGHAE CHANYEOL-OPPA!" some girls close to yixing shouted and to his surprise he noticed baekhyun was shouting with them..

Yixing studied the members as they all introduced themselves, but it was hard to see since the lights were still flashy and although they were close to the stage he could still hardly see any of their facial expressions.

"...~TONIGHT IS A VERY SPECIAL PERFORMANCE AS WE ARE GOING TO INVITE SOME OF YOU ONTO THE STAGE TO DANCE WITH US!" one of the members shouted and yixing protected his ears again for the explosion of cheers and screams and clapping from the audience.

"BUT FIRST WE'RE GOING TO SING OUR NEW COMEBACK! HERE IS 'LOVELY'!

"SARANGHAE EXO-L!" they all shouted after a few songs

The crowd shouted back but it was a bit chaotic and not everyone was saying the same things~

"NOW WE WOULD LIKE TO ASK 10 PEOPLE TO JOIN US!"

one of them whipped a piece of paper out of nowhere

"THEIR NAMES ARE ON THIS PAPER...CAN WE HAVE A DRUMROLL?!"

everyone started drumming on their knees, the floor or stage

they started reading the names, and none of them were familiar until..~

a few seconds it was completely silent and then people started shouting and screaming even louder than first and the lucky ones were picked up from the crowd by muscled security guards.

Baekhyun stared at his friend, mouth open. yixing thought his eyes might pop out.

"i'm...sorry"

"DON'T BE! YOU'RE SO LUCKY! GO ON! HAVE FUN! TOUCH CHANYEOL'S ARM FOR ME!"

Yixing smiled and bid his goodbyes as the security guards had arrived to escort him.
