chapter 10: chen

-author's note: hahaaa lol if you thought chen was going to feature in this chapter you have been pranked trololololool~ :D (I'm sorry sorry sorry I couldn't think of anything else that rhymed with ten woops also it's an excuse to put my bby in the media and who would mind seeing his face huh ;3

"and then what happened?!" lay smiled at jenna

"-he took my hand and i felt my heart kinda explode, i guess"

she handed him a cloth and he started cleaning the table

"wow so you had to go all evening without a heart?" he teased her and she threw another cloth at his face.

"don't you dare laugh at me, you little-"

"sheep?" he blinked innocently and she laughed.

yes, cleaning was never an unpleasant task at their home. the other inhabitants didn't really care about it, but Jenna and Yixing did like the house to be at least a little tidy, therefore they had their weekly cleaning session every Sunday morning.

Yixing loved it. it was more of a catching-up with Jenna and his lives and taking a moment to calm down and relax. it sounds strange but it really was.

"and how was your concert last night?" she smiled warmly and he reddened when he remembered he actually gave Jenna's number to an idol.

"uhm yeah about that...i have something to tell you..." he stuttered

"oh yeah? what is it?" she frowned

He went through his hair with his hand and explained his bizarre experience. he just told her everything, not sparing her any details.

"oh my god! EXO has my number?!"

he shrugged, that wasn't the main point of the story but he did understand her excitement.

"i wish i had gone with you guys...maybe i could've picked my own EXO member up too..."

"how do you mean?" yixing asked slowly

"well baekhyun got himself a boyfriend and another one asked for your number so..."

"no, he asked my number for the company" Yixing decisively shook his head but Jenna just grinned

"sure, you keep believing that. they have loads of staff, why did he ask himself then hm?" she raised her eyebrow at him

"maybe they wanted it to be more personal of something, I don't know" he shrugged again.

"do you not care about this all?! they are idols! he is an idol! you'd think when stuff like that happened to someone they'd be really excited...~" Jenna said, slightly agitated.

"hm...let's just wait and see if they call"

Jenna stared at her phone intensely, trying to make them call but she failed and Yixing chuckled.

"oppa, what are you going to do about your job?" she asked suddenly and he bit his lip

she was right, he was going to have to search for another job...again
