chapter 4: door

"hey guess what?" baekhyun said excitedly whilst Yixing was trying to stay on the road in their match of mario kart

"what?"

"do you remember ___? that band i'm a fan of?"

Yixing wanted to roll his eyes, but that would make him lose so he didn't. instead he just made a sound, indicating that he did indeed remember.

"well, they're giving a concert not far from here, very soon"

"that's nice" Yixing clenched his teeth in concentration.

"would you go with me, please?" baekhyun pouted

"if it's on a Saturday i will, otherwise..-"

"i know that, i am your friend! it is on a Saturday i checked that of course"

yixing glanced sideways and smirked

"I apologize, of course you did"

"so will you come?"

Yixing bit his lip, baekhyun did mean he would pay, right? Yixing couldn't pay  for a ticket himself in a thousand years...

"don't worry, i'll pay everything" Baekhyun muttered, blushing

they both were a bit awkward around the difference in wealth between them..

"i'd love to go with you" Yixing said softly and Baekhyun beamed

"so...lunch?" Baekhyun asked when he had won  six times in a row.

Yixing scoffed and got up from the couch too.

when they both had a plate of food, they sat down and Baekhyun started talking about his favorite band again...

"so have i told you about Chanyeol?"

"probably..."

"well, he's one of their rappers-"

"that's lovely" Yixing said, not really paying attention

"-he can also sing really beautifully and his dance moves are amazing as well...-"

"ah~"

"-he's so hot, and he's got an amazing voice too, really deep and sexy and-"

"are there any other members to this band or..?" Yixing laughed

"sure! you've got chen, he's their lead vocal, and luhan and kris and sehun and and and"

"yes ok ok i get it" yixing rubbed his eyes and he heard baekhyun laugh

"what?" he looked up at him

"you look cute, that's all"

"cute..?" Yixing blinked in surprise

"yeah, like a bunny. wanna watch a movie?"

"uhh...sure.?" he followed his friend, still trying to overcome this shocking experience.

cute? nah.
