"there's still one thing I don't understand" baekhyun said as he fixed yixing's tie.

"what?"

"I don't understand why they emailed you when they had your phone number"

"yeah, i was wondering about that too~" jenna said as she took out some more hairwax and stuck even more of yixing's hairs together.

Yixing himself sat on a kitchen chair, nervous and silent.
His friends were getting him ready for his interview at sm entertainment, and he was being getting readied.
they talked some more about how weird they thought it was and he shuffled around in the chair, uncomfortably. he felt like a child.

after about ten minutes they had finished and looked proudly at him as he stood up and looked at himself in the mirror.

"what time is it?" he mumbled, turning a little to see his side as well.

"1 o'clock, that gives you 45 minutes to get to the building" baekhyung replied

"but will you not give him a ride?!" jenna gasped

"uh..I didn't think-"

"well think again. he'll drop you off, yixing-ah, don't worry" jenna smiled at him, not making him feel any more like the grown up he actually was.

"guess so"

"good luck, xingxing!" baekhyun patted his shoulder as he got out of the car and stepped onto the pavement.

"thanks, see you in a bit" yixing smiled nervously through the car window and baekhyung nodded and drove off.

yixing turned towards the building and exhaled deeply a few times before pushing the large front doors open.

inside was a shiny entrance hall filled with people. they all seemed to know exactly where they were heading and had a sort of strict look on their face. not exactly friendly, yixing thought.

he was standing in the middle of the hall now, looking around and wondering where to go.

suddenly someone gripped his elbow. a tall man with a nice smile stood behind him.

"annyeonghaseyo~ you must be zhang yixing" he bowed

yixing nodded and bowed too. after the man introduced himself he took him out of the crowded hall and into a quieter part of the building.
he was talking none-atop about the building and the company and stuff like that but yixing wasn't really paying attention.

the man led him into an office and he offered yixing a seat opposite from him behind a large desk.

"I'm glad you were able to come. now, in your solicitation e-mail you explain how you haven't really had much experience, but you recently were told you had a talent for dancing. could you explain that more clearly?"

yixing blinked a few times as he let those words sink in. solicitation e-mail? he never sent such an e-mail? did he?

all kinds of questions started forming in his mind until he heard a soft cough which turned out to be the man.

"uh" yixing stuttered

"is something wrong?"

"well...I don't think i ever sent a solicitation e-mail?" yixing tried to sound polite but he feared that wasn't really possible.

"how do you mean? we received your e-mail saying you would like to be a choreographer for us?" the man smiled kindly

"i mean i never wrote you a mail"

"that's impossible, are you saying someone else send us an email from your address without you noticing?" the man raised an eyebrow.

yixing nodded slowly. it was the truth, and even though it sounded strange he preferred the truth over a lie.

"well..." the man bit his lip and sank back into his chair.

"but you do dance?"

"well...a little..." yixing replied softly and after a questioning look from the man he decided to just tell what happened at the concert.

"this sure is the most interesting job interview i've done in a while" the man laughed when he finished his story.
his face turned serious after some time and he seemed to be thinking about something.

"okay, mr zhang, I'm going to be totally honest with you"

yixing nodded for him to continue and the man sighed.

"we're having troubles with our choreography staff in the way that we, uhm, don't actually have any."

yixing stared at him

"some are ill, some resigned, any way, we could really use you"

"oh"

"so, even though this solicitation didn't go exactly as we expected, I'm going to offer you a job as head choreographer."

"uh" yixing stuttered "but I'm not even a good dancer" he blurted out what he had been thinking for days.

"let's see about that" the man winked and handed him a set of papers.
