[hi there. 2 things. one: i have started the book for the thing i talked about during the "helllp" chapter. peteless the first if you like. i have also finally finished a story named out of everyone. if you havent read it this is kinda spoilers but not really. im tired and im not sure what im writing anymore. yay. why is this so short?]

I lie down with Lachlan in the backyard. I haven't been in here for years, and the grass is as tall as my knees as I sit. I'm not sitting, though; I'm lying down, curled up in a ball into Lachlan. It's cold outside in the night, but Lachlan's warm, along with his arm around me.

I still don't understand how I ended up here. I don't understand how I'm lying in a backyard under the stars with Lachlan, of all the people. I don't understand how I've survived through high school already. I've really missed this old house, and I really missed talking to my parents. It's been rough, to say the least, with people telling me what's wrong with being gay. I just shake my head at them. I wouldn't change a thing in my life.

"Y'know, Lachlan?"

"Hmm?" He replies, sounding sleepy. I smile at his voice.

"Out of everyone in this world," I say, "I'm glad I ended up with you."
