Preston was laughing at a scowling Rob who looked anything but happy. Preston could tell, though, that behind that frown was Rob trying hard not to grin. Rob still had snow on his scarf from when the snowball had hit his face, and there were bits on his hat as well.

"See, it's not so-" Preston's words were cut short as he took a snowball to the face as well. He wiped the snow off his face before looking at Rob with wide eyes.

"See, it's not so bad," Rob mimicked with a smirk. Before he could react, Preston tackled him and the two of them landed in the snow. Rob yelled, though too late, and Preston laughed again, grabbing some more snow from around them and dumping it onto Rob's face. "I really fucking hate you."

"Really?" Preston asked, stretching out the word teasingly. He rolled so that he was on top of Rob, pinning the other to the snow with his arms and knees. Rob stared up.

"Yes."

Preston faked a frown before getting up. "I guess I won't kiss you then; I mean, you hate me."

"You're such a tease, I-"

"Hate you?" Rob glared at Preston, who only shrugged and turned around, heading towards the house. Rob suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled him down into the snow again, making him yelp.

"I could never hate you," Rob mumbled as he smashed their lips together. Preston smiled, satisfied with that.

They stayed there for a while, and Preston couldn't feel the cold anymore as he stood up, pulling Rob up with him. The two of them were red-faced and out of breath, even though they'd been sitting and lying down the entire time. Preston tried to pat his back, where he was sure a lot of snow still was. "Why did I agree to come here? I mean, it's not like I like hanging out with you guys or something. God, Texas is so much better; no snow, no cold, and no guys throwing socks at each other."

Rob laughed, helping Preston out and brushing the snow off of his jacket. He put an arm around Preston's shoulders as they headed back to the house. "You like it here, and you've enjoyed yourself. Snow isn't that bad. You get to build snowmen!"

"Vik and Lachlan are the only ones who've tried, and they were really shitty snowmen. It was only like two feet tall," Preston mumbled. Rob rolled his eyes but continued.

"Besides, you get to spend Christmas with us guys! Isn't that the best thing ever?"

"I celebrate Hanukkah."

"Stop being an asshole, yeah?" Preston finally laughed, breaking his 'angry' attitude. He wrapped his arms around Rob back and sighed contently. They were at the door now.

"Yeah, it is fun here. And I've missed hanging out with you all, especially you." Preston pulled the door open after fumbling for a bit with the keys and gestured for Rob to go in, saying, "Ladies first."

"Why, thank you," Rob replied with a high pitched voice. He giggled and bowed before stepping inside. Preston followed him and immediately felt overwhelmed but happy at the warmth the house provided. Rob turned around and gave Preston a quick kiss before leaving for a shower. Preston went to his own room where he sat crosslegged on his bed, trying to figure out how to wrap a box. He finally stopped, after at least half an hour, to answer a knock on his door. He figured it was Rob or someone asking to play a game.

Preston wasn't expecting a bucket of cold water to be dumped onto his head.

Preston rushed out the door, hearing the loud laughter of Mitch and Jerome and their footsteps as they ran down the hall. Preston knew he wouldn't catch up and just wiped his eyes. He saw Rob outside of his room, drenched as well. "We need to get revenge."

Rob nodded, holding his arms as far away from him as possible as if that would fix the issue. "I need to change again and dry off first. I think you do too."

"No shit," Preston snorted before going back into his room. After a few minutes, he returned outside and knocked on Rob's door.

"If that's you two again, I'm not falling for it," Rob shouted.

"It's just me, open up!" Rob did so with his eyes squeezed shut like he was expecting more water to hit him in the face. Preston just laughed and poked his nose. "I told you it was just me."

Rob smiled. "I really fucking hate them."

"Revenge?" Rob nodded.
