[So I'm pretty sure no one knows this so I'll explain it again
Its the holiday season yay and I wanted to do something to celebrate. So for a week, all the way up to Christmas Eve, I will write poems that have nothing to do with the Christmas season sadly. But not just any poems
(They're just any poems)
I allow anyone to just copy down these words that I write. You are absolutely allowed to put these in your fanfics, oneshots, whatever. I don't see why anyone would. They're crap.
So here's the first one.]

I didn't want to waste
My time and my love
On you, who they say
Is the world's best traitor

I didn't want to
Get stabbed in the back
Or pushed off a cliff
Fallen and weak

I didn't want to feel pain
From a person like you
I was better than that
And boy did I know

So I tried to do what you
Did to so many others.
I made you fall slowly
In love with me

And I waited for the time
When I could strike you,
Hurt you the hardest,
Shatter your disgusting heart.

But the time never came
For I soon realized
While I was making you fall,
I was falling myself

This didn't go as planned;
I wasn't supposed to be weak,
Yet it happened.
We both fell in love

No matter how much
I wanted to hurt you,
My conscience wouldn't
Ever allow it.

I caught you
In my little trap,
But you caught me
In yours as well
