"When are you wanting to leave?" Kade glanced over at me from the other couch. We were laying on the couch watching a basketball game while we waited for Izzy.
I looked at the time, realizing that we needed to be leaving. "Whenever Izzy gets ready."
"Bel!" Kade yelled. "Get that fine ass out here! It's time to go!"
"Stop talking about her ass," I snapped.
Kade looked over at me with a raised eyebrow. I knew he was asking me why I was getting so snappy with him about Izzy, but instead of trying to defend myself from the thoughts I knew were going through this head, I headed into my room to see if Izzy was about ready.
I knocked on the bathroom door. "Come in."I walked into the bathroom and one look at the bathroom counter, I froze. My counter was barely visible beneath all the combs, brushes, straighter, hair products, makeup, etc.
Izzy must have seen the horror on my face because she laughed. "Don't worry, I clean it up."
"Izzy, honey, we need to be leaving right now."
She shrugged. "I can clean it up when we get back then."
She leaned back towards the mirror and started putting more mascara on. "Well are you ready then?"
"Yeah," she answered before putting the mascara down. She pulled off the robe she had on revealing her outfit.
No way in hell. I really didn't even want her to meet the guys because I knew that they'd be all over her. But there was no way in fucking hell that I'd let her meet the guys dressed like that. First of all, they only sold her about half of the little spaghetti strapped white shirt she was wearing. Second of all, you could see her ass poking out from underneath her damn skirt. Add her high heels to the mix and you're let with nothing but a fire station full of guys with hard ons.
"Are you going to put on some clothes?" I asked.
"No, this should be fine." With a smile, she glanced down at her half naked body.
"Well maybe I didn't make myself clear. Elizabel, go put on some clothes."
She raised an eyebrow out me and stuck her hand on her hip making her shirt show more skin if that was even possible. "Well maybe I didn't make myself clear. Mason, I'm wearing clothes and I have no intention of changing."
I ran a hand over my face in obvious exasperation. "I'm not taking you to meet the guys when you'd be wearing more if you went to a pool."
"Have you ever seen what I wear to a pool?" She laughed. I couldn't understand why she was laughing, because I honestly couldn't find anything funny about the situation. "Because trust me, this is a whole lot more than what I wear to the pool."
"Elizabel, can't you just listen to me for once?"
"I did listen," she argued. "I'm just not agreeing with your logic."
"Guys! Are you coming or not?" Zach yelled from the living room.
"On our way!" She sent a smirk in my direction before walking out.
I swear to god this woman was literally going to be the death of me. Why couldn't she just listen to me for once?
This was the question that I still couldn't answer as I pulled into the fire station parking lot. When we walked into the kitchen, the guys eyes, as expected, went straight to Izzy. And it just went downhill from there.
