When Harry wakes up the next morning, the first thing he notices is he's alone. Sitting up, he looks around his room looking for Ava but doesn't see her. Puzzled, he throws the covers back, gets up and goes on the hunt. He's not used to waking up without her in his arms or her waking him needing to get up. It worried him that she didn't wake him, he didn't think he did anything the night before to upset her. He thought everything went off as planned. Well other than Niall kissing him, that wasn't suppose to happen, but she took care of him for doing that. So he didn't understand where she could be now or why she didn't wake him.
Harry was making his way toward the kitchen, thinking she might have wanted something to drink when he heard the music. Tilting his head, he turns and heads toward the music room instead. The door was open so he leaned against the door frame and watched in awe as Ava danced. Harry wasn't an expert, but he's seen enough in movies to know what she was doing was a cross between ballet and contemporary. And damn if she wasn't good, she was gliding across the floor with ease. He realized then he still had a lot to learn about this girl he loved so much. The music stopped and so did Ava's graceful movements. Harry walks into the room and sits on the piano bench and stares at her. She turns and smiles down at him. "I didn't wake you did I? I was trying to keep the music low." She says walking to him so she could stand between his knees.
Harry placed his hand on her hips. "No you didn't wake me. I woke up and missed you though." He smiled at her.
Ava ran the hand without the cast on it through Harry's still tossled curls. "That's why I love weekends so much. Being here with you. I have a hard time sleeping in my own bed at home alone." She tells him as she kisses his cheek.
"Then move in here. You're here every weekend anyway. I've already made room in my closet for your stuff. My bathroom looks like it's half yours now as it is." Harry says pulling to sit on his lap. "I hate you not being beside me at night during the week too. All I do is toss and turn wondering if you're okay." He confesses.
"So that's why you have dark circles on Mondays." She says rubbing one finger softly under one of his eyes. "I thought maybe you were staying up late catching up on your song writting, you never do that when I'm around. I don't want to be the reason for you to neglect that talent." Ava tells him.
"Never, I don't write on weekends because I'm to busy. I'm at the club on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday I try to spend quality time with you, mom and Robin. What about you?" Harry asks her. "Where did all that come from?" He said waving toward the center of the floor.
Ava just shrugged. "Don't know really. I was always a big fan of the Step-up movies, and with no friends I had plenty of time to break each move down and copy them. That's how I spent my weekends at home while mom and dad would be working, either that or reading." She tells Harry as she turn to straddle his lap, wrapping her legs around his waist.
Harry could feel himself react to her movement. He wanted to take their relationship to the next level but he knew she was a virgin and didn't want to push her into anything she wasn't ready for. She had to know how he felt for her though he told her enough, and she had to know what she was doing to him, he thought, she should be able to feel it. It wasn't like he could hide it.
"Harry, can I ask you something?" Ava says breaking his train of thought.
"Of course, anything you want." He tells her.
Ava leans forward, a little nervous, she didn't want him to reject her. "Will you make love to me, please. If you don't want to I'll understand. It's just that, I love you..."
Harry cut her off with a kiss. He stood up with her still in his arms and walked out the door not saying a word. When he got to his room he kicked the door shut and locked it just in case his mom came home early. He walked over to the bed and slowly lowered her to it not once stopping the kiss.
"I love you too. I don't want you doing anything you're not ready to do Ava." Harry tells her. "Please don't think you have to do this. I'm fine with the way things are now. I'll wait forever if I have to, just so I know you're comfortable."
