Ava was about to roll over into a more comfortable position, being in a somewhat sleep/wake state. She knew Harry was holding her close as always but she wasn't sure where she was. Suddenly the was a huge crash rang out in room, everyone jerked awake and looked around. Zayn stood and walked toward the kitchen to see if there was something in there that had fallen over or something and froze in the doorway. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The refrigerator was sitting on the the fucking table, which happened to be balanced on the chairs in the middle of the room. He took one step back and looked over his shoulder.
"Uhhm, guys. You might want to see this for yourself. I don't think you will believe me if I tell you what I'm looking at." He called out.

Everyone looked at him then got up and walked over to where he was. The girl gasped and the guy gaped. "What the fuck? Okay that's it, I'm getting Ava out of here." Harry turned and looked at her. "I know that's not your mom and dad doing that. So I think it would be best if we just pack up and leave. Your parents can follow us home if they want. Our home is big enough and I think it can handle a few friendly parental ghosts."

Ava nodded then shuddered. "My meds are in there, whose going to get them?"

"I will, don't worry hun I will be fine. You just start getting the blankets and other things ready to be loaded up, the quicker we are out of here the better I'll feel." Harry tells her. He kisses her cheek and gives her a hug.

Everyone agreed with what Harry said and quickly started rounding up all the equipment they set up the night before and get everything ready the be carried to the cars. Once Harry retrieved Ava's meds from the kitchen and she took her morning dose he and the other guys made the multiple trips to the trucks to load for the ride home. They all decided to stop at the cafe for breakfast.

Once they were all seated at the table, or several tables tables pushed together, Braden asks. "So, Ava did your mom ever make an appearance last night? Or did you two fall asleep?"

Ava looked at Harry and gave him a slight smile. "No she was there. She just didn't let us talk or ask questions. She did most of the talking."

Naturally Harry takes over, knowing Ava was about to get choked up thinking about the encounter with her mom. "Guys let me tell you, if I hadn't seen it for myself I wouldn't have believed it. Ava looks just like her mom first off. Ava's hair is a lighter color and she's shorter but they could pass for twins." He tells them all

"Wait are you saying you actually saw her? And she spoke to you?" Ed asks surprised.

Harry nods pulling Ava in his lap. Not caring where they were. "Yep. She told us the same thing Ava said her dad told her. One of you might get hurt if we don't watch each others back. She loves our family and said that Ava and I were soulmates and would live long happy life together." He told them with tears in his eyes.

Damon was so relieved to hear that he started crying, surprising everyone at the table. Excpecially Harry and Ava. Ava gets off Harry's lap and goes over to give him a hug. "Hey. Why the tears?"

Damon just hugs her and pulls her into his lap. For the first time ever Harry starts to get pissed at a trusted 'family' member. "There is something I haven't told you guys." He says looking at them all. When he sees the look on Harry's face he's a little surprised to see he's mad. "About 9 years ago before I moved here and met all of you. I had a younger brother. He got sick, we thought it was just a summer cold at first. Mom and dad just kept giving him home remedies for that and made him continue his regular activities. After about 3 months of this he started losing energy and couldn't do a lot of the simple things he used to. My dad would get so mad at him and yell or hit him. I couldn't stand to see them treat him like that." By then Damon had tears rolling down his cheeks again and Harry was frowning, wondering where this story was going. He was still mad Ava was still in his lap she was his not Damon's. "One morning David was to sick to go to school so I went without him. He was old enough to stay home by himself and with mom and dad both working we all figured he would be fine.
When I got home that afternoon I found him lying at the bottom of the stairs where he fell, he was trying to get to the kitchen for something to drink but was to weak. He had been there all day. When I went to help him up his shirt raised up and I noticed he was covered in bruises. I knew right then something was seriously wrong. What he had was no summer cold. He had lost lots of weight. So I called my neighbor, knowing my parents wouldn't care and asked them if they would take us to the ER.
David had leukemia. He was in the the 4th stages by the time he was diagnosed. I did all I could to help. I donated my bone marrow. I spent most my time at the hospital with him, barely going to school." Damon looked down and let out a shuddering breath and a sob. "My parents hardly ever visited, it was like they didn't care." He raised his head and looked right at Harry. "He died on my birthday. That's why I've been so protective of sis here."
"And when you just said what you did, about you two living a long happy life together. I guess I just lost it, knowing she's going to beat this horrible disease when my brother didn't. I just can't stand to think of losing another family member like that. It's not a pretty way to go and I just didn't want to see her and you, Harry, go through that."
