Chapter 22

When Harry and Ava returned home they both still had tears on their cheeks and more ready to fall at a blink of an eye. Everyone was there since they were still on a break from school so as soon as Anne saw them and the attention was brought to them everyone assumed the worse. Unaware at how they looked Harry just shook his head and motioned one and all into the dining room for the announcement that he knew would make the room erupt with the same joy he felt.

"I guess you're all wondering why we're acting the way we are?" Harry said as he sat down, pulling Ava into his lap. "Well, Ava's check up went well, until we got the results of her blood work back." He paused looking at everyone. He could see a range of different emotions on each face he saw in front of him. Fear, worry and others. "Dr. Emerson said that there is no sign of cancer at this moment, she's fine." Harry told them all as they both smiled at the family they both loved.

Harry was waiting for the news to sink in, he knew when it did it would get loud in there so he covered Ava's ears just in time for the eruption of screams and tears from all there. Within seconds Harry and Ava was being smothered in hugs and kisses.

"So are you two planning to celebrate this or what?" Jess asks Ava.

Ava looked at Harry and smiled. "Well we were thinking about going back to school, but then decided not to for a while just yet. I think we're going to do what daddy Robin wants and work on getting our vocals down for the our part in the recording of the CD. We get most of the school work sent to us done within a couple of hours. So that means we have the rest of the week to work on the CD."

"Wait. Did you just say you get a weeks worth of school work done in a couple of hours?" Louis asks the couple, at their nod, Louis just shakes his head. "No wonder their songs are so bloody good. They're fucking genius'." He says.

"What about doing the out of town gigs? Ed got another call earlier about one in Jackson, it's 3 hours away and they want us for this weekend. Robin said he can get another local band to fill in at the club for us if we decide to do it." Braden asks.

"I'd say it's up to Ava and how she feels." Damon says. "She may be cured now but we don't need a relapse, if she feels up to it then fine."

"Do you guys think you will be ready? We have so many new songs, we haven't even started learning some of them yet." Ava says, getting excited.

"Well its Tuesday, we have plenty of time to fine tune that. We have been doing this long enough it doesn't take us long to learn new material." Ed tells her. "We just need to add in your sets, figure out where we will put in your solos and where your and Harry's duet will fit best."

"Well if you're going to do that then you need to get rehearsing now." Anne stated. "Ed call whoever it was and tell them you will be there this weekend, then you guys go to work. Meg and I will start on fixing something for all of you to eat later. The rest of you do what you do best and help them figure out what songs would be best for this weekends gig." Anna says getting everyone motivated.

"I have to go out for a little while. I'll be back in about an hour or so, will dinner be done by then?" Robin asks.

"It should be. Where you going?" Anne asks him.

"It's a surprise. Don't worry, I'll be fine." Robin tells her, kisses her cheek then leaves. He had been planning this for a while and keeping this from Anne and the kids was hard when he kept getting calls all the time. Well it was finally done and he could go pick it up and the timing couldn't be more perfect. Harry's bands name was The Rogues, well when Ava came along they decided with her singing also the name had to change so it was now Bella and the Bad Boys. He just hoped they liked his gift.
An hour later Robin walks in the door and what he heard brought a smile to his face and tears to his eyes. Ava's voice rang out through the house like bell through a town village. Her voice was one of the best he had ever heard, and add Harry's to that it was truly magical. He walks into the theater to see everyone there watching in awe as this small girl belted out a song he knew Harry had written just for her. The look on that boys face was priceless as he watched her sing his song. You could see the love he felt for her just radiate off him. When the song was over Ava walks over to Harry and hugs him, Harry leans down as whispers in her ear then kisses her cheek. When he pulls away they both have tears in their eyes.
