Summary: Fluff

------

Yunho isn't a particularly clumsy person. In fact, he's very graceful on his feet, being able to execute complicated dance moves far better than the average human being. He also pulls off roundhouse kicks with ease, and even has a pretty good kick. Bottom line is, he's good with his feet.

So, it comes as a surprise to everyone when he's tripping and stumbling down a flight of stairs and ends up with a broken shin. Sleep deprivation, he says, I haven't had a good sleep in a week.

Jaejoong scoffs at him.

'You fell, because you were too busy staring at the back of Changmin's head.'

Changmin slaps him hard on the arm as Yunho blushes a deep shade of red stuttering in denial, while Yoochun and Junsu merely snicker, Yoochun laughing hard enough to almost fall off the hospital chair. Almost, because Junsu catches him by the waist and they both end up tumbling to the floor.

Yunho is thankful for the morphine shots he gets every four hours, because it saves him three years worth of wrinkles if he has to grimace in pain every two minutes without painkillers.

He tries not to think of the bad things that come with a broken leg, instead he finds comfort that he gets a long rest, one he hasn't had in a nice long while already. He also expects, and he's pretty sure he'll get what's coming, that Changmin is going to pamper and coddle and indulge and baby him with his undivided attention for the next few weeks.

It's just after Yunho's done with his dinner that the four of them start getting chased out by the matron. It eventually turns into Changmin staying with Yunho, having pouted his best puppy-dog expression and batted his eyelashes sweetly at the matron the old lady couldn't help but fall in love and give in. To the three rolling pairs of eyes, he insists that he's not going to be comfortable sleeping on a chair.

'Suuuuure, because Yunho-hyung is so not going to let you sleep in bed with him and cuddle him all night,' Yoochun groans with another eye roll.

'Park Yoochun! Stop rolling your eyes before I roll them out of your sockets and into kimbap and eat it for breakfast!'

'And I love you too, Minnie. We'll see you guys tomorrow morning.'

Yunho and Changmin wave at the three backs that disappear out the door, as Changmin sits down on the bed beside Yunho. Yunho gets bopped on the head as soon as the door shuts with a soft click, eliciting a pout that makes Changmin's heart squeeze, and makes him want to squeeze Yunho's cheeks. He chooses to just smile affectionately and peck Yunho's pout away.

'Idiot. What were you doing staring at the back of my head for?'

It's all balloon hearts and rainbows and sunshine, the way Yunho blushes cutely and tries to bury his face in Changmin's shoulder, the heat spreading from his cheeks to his ears till they're tingling. Changmin doesn't let him, cupping Yunho's face in his hands until Yunho's looking straight at him, chuckling softly at the way Yunho turns a brighter shade of red and looks everywhere but at him.

He leans in closer to Yunho, gently pressing their lips together, liking and falling in love all over again when he feels Yunho smile against his mouth. Yunho runs a hand through Changmin's hair to stop his hand at Changmin's nape as Changmin nuzzles his cheek gently, tracing the tip of his perfect nose along the length of Yunho's neck.

'I was just admiring your new haircut, that's all,' he smiles, brushing his fingers along the strands that curl against Changmin's neck.

'You mean my lack of a haircut, Hyung. And you look like you could use one,' Changmin laughs, reaching out to ruffle Yunho's hair till his fringe falls over his eyes.

'No I don't,' he says, mouth opening wide in a yawn. Changmin smiles fondly, gently pushing Yunho down by the shoulders to lie down. He moves to get off the bed only for Yunho to tug at his hand. Changmin rolls his eyes in feigned annoyance, before smiling down on Yunho and pecking him on the cheek and settling beside him on a bed too small for the both of them. Only, it fits just right, when Changmin curls against Yunho's side and rests against his arm (because Yunho can only lie on his back with his left leg hanging from the ceiling).

Yunho kisses Changmin, whispering an I love you into Changmin's hair, appreciating that he has the youngest to keep him company through the night. Who needs a comfortable bed and stuffed toys when he's got Changmin?

'Nn love you too. 'Night, Yunho-yah.'

Yunho wakes up to a slight cramp in his arm, but not that he minds, because Changmin is still plastered to his arm, sleeping face so serene all he feels like doing is kissing him till he wakes. That, he does. He counts about four light pecks on Changmin's face and two sloppy kisses on his cheek before a seventh one on his lips finally wakes him up.

Changmin blinks the sleep from his eyes, liking that the first thing he sees is Yunho's soft, loving smile at him. He pushes off from Yunho to sit up, eyes popping when his neck and back cricks in too many places while he stretches. He succumbs when Yunho pulls him back down for a kiss, and a few more cuddles until he insists that Hyung, I don't want teeth rot, and neither do you, so we should brush our teeth now.

The morning passes slowly, with Changmin insisting on feeding Yunho breakfast even though Yunho has a broken leg, not two broken arms. Yunho doesn't mind, not when Changmin rewards his good behavior with a gentle kiss between mouthfuls.

By the time breakfast is over, Changmin decides, and takes it upon himself that like it or not, you need a haircut, Yunho-hyung, and half carries Yunho out of bed and wheels him into the attached bathroom, stopping in front of the mirror.

He crouches down to hug Yunho around the shoulders, puffing out his cheeks against Yunho's and looks at their reflection in the mirror. He feels himself melt into a puddle of pink glittery goo when Yunho turns his head to kiss Changmin on the cheek, bringing an arm up to cradle his head lovingly.

Changmin is so amazed and so scared at how easily he falls in love all over again, because it's Yunho. The way Yunho sneaks up from behind him when he's bent over books to cuddle him, the way they kiss in an unhurried fashion even when their bodies scream now now now NOW, the way Yunho just is makes him want to just be with the man forever.

'I love you, Yunho-yah,' he blurts out, feeling the involuntary blush tinting his cheeks.

He buries his face in Yunho's cheek to hide, earning an affectionate laugh in doing so. Yunho pulls him around to face him, pulling Changmin in for a slow, deep kiss, brushing his thumb over Changmin's cheek.

'Mmmn, I wish I could sit on your lap and do this all day, but your leg's broken,' Changmin sighs, pulling away a little to rest his forehead against Yunho's.

'Silly. If my leg wasn't broken we wouldn't even have time for this,' leaning forward for another kiss, and another, and eight more. He laughs, when Changmin smiles into his mouth.

'Mm now I think I wouldn't mind, but let's cut your hair first, hmm?'

He releases Yunho and finds a towel to pull over Yunho's shoulders. A last peck on the cheek, before he's combing Yunho's hair till his fringe covers his eyes. He uses a hair pin to hold the fringe up first, while he starts snipping off along Yunho's ear.

Yunho can only watch adoringly, his heart giving a painful little squeeze at Changmin's concentrated expression, the way he gently brushes small bits of skin, carefully maneuvering the scissors. The buzz of an electric razor startles him a little, but Changmin's squeeze on the curve between his neck and shoulder is enough to settle him back into comfort.

After a long half an hour, Changmin stops to admire his handiwork. Perfect, he thinks to himself. He picks a small mirror off the table, letting Yunho see the other side of his head. He knows Yunho's answer just from the way he looks up and smiles brightly. Changmin thinks he might just go blind looking at Yunho's happy face.

'I love it, Changmin-ah, thank you.'

Changmin returns the smile, and starts dusting loose strands that have fallen on Yunho's shoulder, and removes the towel.

'Hyung, take your shirt off.'

'Cha-Changmin, we can't do it here, and my leg-' he stutters, but Changmin stops him by covering his mouth and laughs.

'Oh, why are you so cute, Yunho! I'm just going to wash your hair, and probably the rest of you, you stinky.'

Yunho buries his face in his hands, feeling like his head is just going to explode any moment. Changmin gives him a hug and a small peck on the nose, smiling gently.

'I know you want to, and I know I want to too, but let's wait for that leg to get better, okay? It'll be like that first glass of water you drink when you first step out of the desert,' and he unbuttons Yunho's hospital shirt for him, breath catching fleetingly at the toned muscles.

Hoo boy, this is going to be so so mind-blowing and torturous I don't even know anymore, he thinks.

He holds a sponge over Yunho's head and squeezes before lathering shampoo, massaging Yunho's head and enjoys his rewards as Yunho tilts his head back and sighs in contentment.

Yunho's just started getting sponged on his back when the bathroom door flies open and there's sudden whooping and wolf-whistling it startles Yunho so much Changmin almost falls over and breaks his head.

The soulmates ignore the death glares from Changmin, resulting in Jaejoong getting a face full of sponge and soap, and Yoochun a face full of towel and hair. Junsu claps both his hands over his mouth and stifles his laughter in time as Changmin picks up the scissors.

They're finally settled back in the ward, just in time for Yunho's lunch to be served. He pouts, and frowns, and whines about how bad hospital food is, until Jaejoong pulls out a box of freshly made kimbap and japchae after the nurse leaves the ward.

Jaejoong rolls his eyes at the way Changmin spoons japchae into Yunho's mouth, feeding him as though he was a baby. Well, Yunhois Changmin's baby, but Changmin likes it when Yunho calls him 'baby' all the same.

'I think I just lost my appetite for lunch AND dinner. I hate couples.'

'Aww Joongie, we're sorry.'

'Whatever. I'm just glad you guys won't be moaning and groaning and orgasming for a month, because these two,' he jabs a thumb in Yoochun's and Junsu's direction, 'have decided that they're taking over that job while you're recovering.' Cue another Jaejoong eyeroll and Yoosu tomatoes and Homin laughter.

Lunch passes quickly with more rice rolls and hand rolls and eye rolls, and then they're getting chased out again when visiting hours are over. Changmin's almost shoved out the door when he finds his charm no longer works on the matron. That is, until Yunho pulls his charm on the matron with pouts and sad frowns.

Jaejoong hands Changmin a duffel bag on his way out, and Changmin smiles his appreciation because he knows his hyung had packed clothes and Yunho's things without him asking.

The rest of the day passes quickly, when Changmin brings Yunho out of the ward to take a walk around the hospital's park, stopping to sit, talk, smile, kiss.

Yunho complains about dinner again, but it becomes all better when Changmin feeds him and rewards him with playful pecks on the cheek.

The nurse walks in and clicks her tongue at Changmin when she finds that he's kept her patient up past his bedtime, and chides him that 'if he doesn't go to bed now, you're going home tomorrow'.

Changmin helps Yunho settle down in bed, making sure his cast is secure in the overhanging whatchucallit, as Yunho brilliantly calls it.

Changmin pulls out Yunho's patchwork blanket and stuffed toy, handing them over. Yunho gladly accepts the blanket, but hands the toy back with a wistful smile, instead pulling Changmin closer and into bed.

They settle in the way they did the previous night, Changmin curling against Yunho's side and resting on his arm.

'Don't need your toy?'

'Don't need it when I have you.'

'Sap.'

'I know, but you love me.'

'Yeah I do.'

'Love you too, baby.'

Yunho falls asleep with a gentle smile on his face, having contented himself with thinking that he can take anything that comes his way. Broken leg, broken arms, all the stress in the world that comes from being the leader of the Rising Gods of the East, as long as he's got Changmin.

And he doesn't worry, because he trusts Changmin not to break his heart. Ever.
