----

There's no difference between the touches now and the touches of debut. Yunho touches him all the time and it's natural, natural in a way it'll never be with the other members. Changmin's body relaxes on instinct. He leans on Yunho and smiles at the rest of world (or smirks, more like) and shoots his snarky one-liners and is content to remain by the leader's side.

"You're very different with Yunho," Jaejoong tells him once, on their way back home. "You're enthralled by him, dongsaeng."

Changmin laughs it off. "You're just jealous, Hyung."

Jaejoong gives him an odd look. "Not really," he flashes Changmin a secret little smile and says nothing.

The right things are to be said at the right time.

So Changmin wonders, maybe just maybe there's truth to Jaejoong's words. Yunho's head rests on his shoulder. He's fast asleep, his little snores making Changmin smile. He gazes out the window, watches trees and buildings and screaming fangirls and sataeks zoom past and he's bound to this man beside him, his fingers comb through Yunho's hair gently.

And when Yunho moans in his sleep and shifts restlessly, trying to find a comfortable spot, Changmin pulls his hyung closer, rubbing Yunho's arm up and down.

This too feels natural to do. They've come a long way, Changmin thinks. He listens to My Destiny and presses a kiss to Yunho's temple.

This too feels natural to do. There's no need to question it.

It is what it is.

And perhaps, when the lawsuit is underway and driving them crazy and Changmin is beside himself and doesn't know what to do with so much spare time, perhaps this is the right time for Yunho to say what he says.

"Would you like to have dinner with me?"

It's a yes, of course it is, but what is it a yes to? Changmin doesn't think about it too much. And a niggling voice in the back of his mind asks him, what is it with you two? What do you really want?

He pushes that niggling voice further away. Changmin has overanalysed and overanagonised and overthought every single decision in his life.

And in a private little restaurant, as he's working his way through seafood jambalaya, Changmin feels Yunho's eyes intent on him.

"Are you okay?" Yunho asks him quietly.

Changmin takes a sip of his red wine. "Should I not be?"

Yunho laughs, so softly it makes Changmin's stomach flip. "Well, we have a comeback in two months. What do you think?"

"I'm excited," Changmin says, and reaches for his napkin to pat his mouth except Yunho shakes his head and grabs his napkin and leans over and does it for his dongsaeng.

And if Yunho's fingers linger a little longer, Changmin doesn't complain much about it. He closes his eyes. The napkin falls on Changmin's lap and Yunho brushes his thumb across chapped dry lips. He licks his thumb and Changmin grins. This too feels right.

This will happen when it wants to happen.

"Lean your head on his shoulder."

Changmin crosses his legs and arranges his features into what he hopes is a pensive, soulful expression. Yunho settles down beside him, and Changmin nearly sighs. Familiar, comforting body heat.

Yunho feels so good.

They take a couple more shots in different poses. Changmin examines them all on the computer later, only too aware of Yunho's hands on his waist, chin resting on his shoulder as he examines them too.

And when they're given the go-ahead to change, Yunho grabs his hand. He intertwines his fingers with Changmin's and swings lightly as they head for their dressing room. Changmin smiles, following behind him.

Follow the leader, the leader, the leader-

Yunho closes the door to their dressing room, takes his shirt off and hums under his breath as he takes off his trashbag pants. Changmin chuckles.

"What?"

"Those shorts ...."

Yunho grins. Changmin leans against the door, his eyes heavy and dark in anticipation. He closes his eyes when Yunho cups his cheeks, his breathing shallowed and quick.

"This is really happening," Yunho whispers.

Changmin nods. What Yunho is alluding to, his brain doesn't really comprende because there's soft lips pressed to his forehead and fingers curling behind his neck.

He wraps his arms around Yunho's waist, bringing him closer. Close enough to feel Yunho's bodyheat. Close enough for Yunho to drive him insane. Close enough because-

Haven't they already been close all these years? You're my best friend, Yunho admitted on radio. He remembers Jaejoong smiling at them both.

And now, Changmin knows. This is just a natural extension. This is how things should be - Yunho's mouth slanting against his, a close-mouthed kiss that has Changmin shivering and running his hands up and down Yunho's spine.

Yunho pulls away, biting his lower lip. "Are you sure?"

Changmin laughs. "I think," he murmurs. "We've waited long enough."

"True that," Yunho mumbles, his lips on Changmin's shoulderbones, his fingers slipping under the vee-neck Changmin was made to wear for the shoot. Yunho has good ideas about where to put his hands, Changmin thinks distractedly, throwing his head back.

Yunho laughs.

"I said that out loud, didn't I?"

Yunho kisses Changmin's nose.

"Yeah, you did."

They make love on a couch in the dressing room. Changmin's lips are bruised and he feels the burn as Yunho slides slowly into him and he thinks to himself, I'm not going to walk tomorrow, his cock is huge, fuck, and Yunho says Saranghaeyo and tears run down Changmin's cheeks because Yunho's always been his home.

Home is where the heart is.
