Chapter 3

Oh no it can't be them I know it can't. I started to run and I finally reached Maddie and them and ran up the hill as fast as I can. They watched me run up the hill and had an worried expression on their face. I looked back and continue to run until I had to take a break. I laid down in the fall leaves the have fallen off the tree. I heard footsteps and sat up only to see Maddie and Rhydian. I let a sigh of relive and laid back down. They soon came up to me and sat beside me. "What was that all about? " asked Rhydian I didn't know how to say that I was running away from my parents. "I-I thought it was my parent...." I said I don't know if I should of said that or not cause now they have confused expressions on their face. "M-my parents use to abuse me..." I said my voice kept getting shaker every time I tried to talk. "Sooo that's why you ran off earlier?" Asked Maddie I shook my head not trusting my voice. That's when they showed up..... My parents my mum looked like she hasn't slept for days my dad looked like he was drunk. I started to back up slowly but fell and Maddie helped me up. My parents came closer until they saw Rhydian. My mum ran up to him and hugged him along with my dad. He pulled away and said "I don't even know you" my mum pulled away and said "we are your parents Rhydian " I was confused because that would mean.... That me and Rhydian were siblings and didn't even know it. "H-how...." I said I wanted to know if I was right or not. My dad said " we were only planing on having one child which was Rhydian but we had Echo and had to give Rhydian up." He said he looked at my with anger on his face. "If it wasn't for Echo we would still have you" said my mum. I didn't know that I was the cause of my parents getting rid of him. "Don't blame it on her she had not thing to do with it" said Rhydian I came up to him and gave him a hug. My parents looked at me and pushed me to the ground and started to beat me. But it didn't last long because Maddie pulled me away from them and started to run with me on her back. Once she stopped running we were at a house I guess this is Maddie's. We walked in to see her parents cooking something. They stopped and her mum said "hey Maddie who's your friend?" She asked I guess this was my turn talk "I'm Echo, Echo Morris" they both looked at me with a weird look on there face. "Yes mum Echo and Rhydian are bother and sister they just found out today" said Maddie. They both smiled and welcomed me to there home.
