Chapter 4

After meeting Maddie's parents it was getting dark out. "It's getting dark out I should probably go..." I said I didn't want to cause what if my parents find me again. Maddie looked at me with a worried expression on her face then said "no you can stay here I can take you to school tomorrow I don't want you to be on your your own cause of what happened" she said. "What happened!" Her mum said oh great now they get to know my past too. After explaining what happened they told me I could stay here as long as I want. You know I might like it here it would be a nice change to sleep under a roof instead of trees. So I said "sure why not" Maddie smiled along with her parents. Rhydian must of left because I went to turn around and he wasn't there oh well I hope that he is safe... 'Wait did I just say that?!?' I just ment him today and found out that he is my brother how can that happen. Oh well I go up to Maddie's room and took a blanket and a pillow and laid on her floor. After a couple of minutes Maddie came into her room and laid on her bed. And with that we fell into a peaceful sleep. BEEP...BEEP...BEEP... What is that? I woke up and it was 6:00 in the morning. Maddie got up and turned off the alarm and started to get ready for school. I got up and went to the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth. I got a new pair of clothes and put them on and head out the door. I don't really eat breakfast or anything really. Buy ytterbium time we got to school the bell rang for homeroom we ran through the halls and went to take our seats n home room. "Today you will be getting an assignment and it is what means the most in your life." Yes this is easy i thought until he said "and you will present this to the whole class and is due by next week." Great just great I can't present this to the class I'm afraid to. Well at least I have until next to finish it I raised my hand and said " is this an essay or an actual presentation?" I asked he said " I can be an essay but I would prefer it to be an actual presentation. " he said I nodded my head in response. Then the bell rang for second period. I got up and grabbed my stuff and headed to Biology. As I walk down the hallway Maddie came up to me and said " so do you have any ideas for your presentation?" " yea I was going to show the class my spot in the woods and tell them what it means to me ." I said she looked surprised that I have everything planed out. " you have already thought of everything?" She asked " yea it was really easy cause of who I am and stuff." I turned the corner and walked into biology. I took my seat and the teacher said " class we have a new student today and her name is Hayley and I hope you make her feel welcomed." He said Hayley gave a small wave. Wait a minute I think she is a wolf blood. I took a small breath of air and smelled that she was just like me. Yay I'm not alone in this class. " Hayley you can sit next to Echo" I looked up and she stared to walk towards me. "Hi " she said "hello" I said. She sat down and we went on with our lesson. By the time Biology ended me and Hayley were best friends. Turns out that we are the same age. We were on our way to lunch until Billy came up to me and said " well it looks like you finally made a friend after all..... You are nothing" he said and out of no where Rhydian came up and said " leave my sister alone". Wow I have never had anyone help me with bullying before. "Why should I told her the truth that she is a worthless bitch" by that time Rhydian had punched Billy and was on the ground. "Thank you " I said and hugged him. He hugged back and said " your welcome" I let go and walked to lunch.
