Chapter 5

Once I got to the lunch room I sat down in the far end of the lunch room and took out "Divergent" and started to read it. I don't eat so that's not going to make me stop reading and get food even tho I'm not really hungry. I was about 20 pages in the book when someone came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around and saw it was the K's great... And they said said " Wow you can't even stand up for yourself " and they stared to laugh " well at I know who is fake or not" and with that I got up and left the lunch room. I turned around to see the whole lunch room laughing at them. I walked out and sat at the picnic table and started to read "Divergent". When the bell went off I got up and entered the building again . I went to my locker because I forgot to get the rest of my classes because I forgot to grab my books earlier . When I opened up my locker after about ten times trying to open it because knowing me I would screw it up so many times, Maddie came up behind me and said " good job!" I looked over at her confused and said " for what?" And I went back to getting my classes because I don't want to be late. "You stood up for your self up to the the K's and no one does that" "well some one was bound to do that at some time I guess i was the first" I said and closed my locker and went to my next. Maddie came up behind me and started to walk with me to my next class. Once I got to my next period class which was English I sat down and started to learn about climax which was really easy to me because of my level. I was sitting there all quite until I saw chocolate syrup running down my head and on to my face. I turn around to see one of the K's doing this " and that's what you get for talking back to us" she said and smirked at me. "Well... Thank you I actually like chocolate" I take my finger and rub it against my cheek and put it in my mouth to eat the chocolate off of it. And with that I got up to use the bathroom to wash off but before I did I smirked at them and left the room. Once I got to the bathroom I took a paper towel and wiped off my clothes the best I could. I took another paper towel and went back to my classroom and wiped up my chair. I looked at my paper which was covered in chocolate I picked up my paper and threw it away. I was glad this was my last class of the day and my thoughts were interrupted when the bell went off. I grab my stuff and walked back to my locker. When I got to my locker Maddie and Rhydian were there waiting for me "hi" I said as I came up to my locker "hey sis" Rhydian said and Maddie said " hi " and smiled at me I grabbed my book bag and stuffed all of my homework in it. Shannon and Tom came up and Shannon asked " hey Echo why are you covered in chocolate syrup?" She asked I don't really want to lie to her so I said " it happened during English one of the K's did this because I stood up for my self " I said I didn't want to talk about this so I started to walk to the door. They all ran to catch up with me and Rhydian said " are you okay did they say anything to you?" He asked I just stayed quite and kept walking. Once we were outside I started to run to my favorite spot in the woods.
