Remember Me!

Chapter 6

Once I finally got to my spot I sat down on the river bank and started to do my homework. About half way through my Biology homework I heard a bunch of rustling in the bushes closest to the trail.  I took  my textbook off of my lap and set it next to me. I stood up and started to walk to the tree. Once I got to the tree I poked my head around the Conner and saw Hayley. I sighed of relief and went back to my my spot of finish my biology homework. I put my binder and textbook back in my book bag and picked it up and started to walk back to the trail.

After about 20 minutes of walking I sat down and started to drift off in a peaceful sleep
Dream: I am finally expected for who I am once in my life. No one is calling me names,beating me up or pranking me. I finally live in peace I don't have worry about anything I can just let go of all my worries. I go to school and see Maddie and Shannon and walk up to them "hey guys " I said with a smile Shannon turns around and says " excuse me do I know you?" She said with a confused look on her face. "Yea it's me Echo we have History together " I said I sat attend to panic I don't want them to forget me like my parents. Then Tom and Rhydian show up maybe they Remember me so I went up to Rhydian and said " hey big bro what's up?" Tom looked at me like I was crazy and Rhydian looked at me confused. "I'm sorry I don't have any siblings and I don't know you" he said at least he had an sorry look on his face. I ran out the school building crying thinking that the only people who cared about me forgot about me...

I was shook awake and saw Maddie and Rhydian there I took my hand and wiped my face well I didn't notice I was crying. I stood up and started to walk away until Maddie took ahold of my jacket and pulled me back. "Echo are you ok we have been looking for you everywhere we were worried sick" Said Rhydian  I just look down and started to walk away again I didn't want to tell them yet I was too scared from it. I turned back around and only said four words
You forgot about me .... And walked away

A week later
It's been a week since I last talked to anyone and today is presentation day... My favorite... We are all in the auditorium and one of the K's were presenting about makeup... "Ok next is Echo" said the teacher I got up and walked to the front of the room. "My presentation is outside is it ok if we go outside ? " I asked the teacher "sure where are we going?" He asked I was thinking about it for a minute until I said " there is a trail out in the woods and it leads to a beautiful destination" I said he smiled and said " ok guys looked like we are heading outside" and with that everyone headed towards the doors. Once the whole class was outside I smiled cause this was one of the most things that mattered to me and everyone is going to see it. I started to walk to the trail until Billy said " do you even know where we're going and I bet it is not even beautiful because you found it " he said ok that hurt... A lot I started to walk backwards and said" well everything is beautiful along with people we just have to look hard to find it and I know where we are going I go there every day after school." I said and I turned around and walked. Once we finally got the the spot I stopped and turned around and gave my speech " I found this spot two years ago, it was the only place I could feel safe. I wanted to show you because nature matters to me the most. I like the feeling you get when you are out here and you are just pure. And so with that i give you nature at its best." I walked down the hill and the class stood there looking around and they stood there shock...
