Remember Me!

Chapter 9

After about five minutes sitting in art thinking about the dress I decided to make it a tree type dress. As I started to sketch out my dress the more I started to like it. When the teacher came into the room and saw my dress she said " wow are you going to make it?" She asked "yea it's for the dance this weekend" I said with a smile on my face. The teacher gave me a smile and walked away.

I was just finishing up my sketch of a project when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took out my phone and there was a text from Maddie and it said " Meet me outside of the cafeteria doors when the period is over" I wonder  what she wants. I quickly replied " yea sure see you there" and sent the message and put my phone away. When the bell rang I got up collected all of my things and head for the cafeteria. Once I got there I went to the doors and a big gust of cold wind hit me. I shivered and closed the door behind me. I waited for about five minutes until I saw Maddie and Rhydian running up to me. " sis you have to get out of her" says Rhydian with a worried look on him face "why?!?" I ask while I tilted my head "because your parents are here" say Maddie I looked at them scared and I froze in place until I heard a howling noise coming from the football field. I quickly ran towards the Smith's house cause they told me if anything like this happened at school then just run home.

I was about half way there until I got tackled to the ground and was pinned down. "Well look who it is " he says with an evil grin. I could tell he was drunk his breath smelled like it. "Get off of me!!" I yell trying to move but my "dad" was a lot stronger then me. "Stop moving bitch" and slapped me. I start to cry know that way at happened in the past is gonna happen again. I start to yell for Maddie and Rhydian and the Smith's until my "dad" punched me in the jaw. I kept wanting to move but he wouldn't budge. That's when he took out the wipe started the beat me with it. The more harder he hit the more I wanted to cry . But if I did then he would just hit me harder. I kept yelling hoping someone would hear and they did.

Rhydian's P.O.V. (New)

As me and Maddie were on our way back to her house we heard someone screaming. It sounded a lot like....Echo!!! I took off running following her scent trail. "Where are we going?!?" Ask Maddie "I'm saving my sister!" I yelled and ran faster. By the time I got there she was on the ground with  dad on top of her whipping her. Anger built up inside me and I ran and pushed him off of her. Maddie ran up to Echo and picked her up caring her bridal style. I got up ran back to Maddie and took Echo out of her arms and started to run to Maddie's house. Once we got there I threw open the door and laid her down on the living room floor. Maddie's parents came out of the den and asked what happened. "I don't know exactly but when we got there my dad was whipping her." I said with tears in my eyes. That's when she started to wake up.

Echo's P.O.V.

Once I woke up I saw Rhydian I sat up and hugged him. He hugged back. I didn't want to let go not now not ever. All I want is to fell safe and that's what he's trying to do. Once I let go I tried to stand up but I fell back down. "What happened?" Asked Maddie's dad. I should probably tell them after all they saved me. " I was running and he tackled me and started to hurt me..." And tears started to fall. "Do you still want to go to the dance?" Asked Maddie. I smiled and said " yea I want to go". They  warped me up in gauze and I went to sleep.
