The next day
I woke up and started to get ready for the dance. I took out some of my makeup so I can practice for what I'm wearing and to cover up some of my bruises. For about ten minutes I practiced and then took it off and put it away. I went into the kitchen to grab something to eat. When I walked into the kitchen I saw Maddie at the kitchen table eating. I sat next to her and stared into space. About five minutes later she looks over her shoulder to see me sitting there staring into space. I got up and went outside to get some fresh air. I sat do in the front yard and laid back letting my skin soak in the nice warm sun. Until I heard Rhydian speaking "why do I have to wear a stupid tie?" I smirked slightly and walked over to where they were. Once I got over there I saw Rhydian trying to take off the tie that he had around his neck. "Your not the only one who is not excited about dressing up" I said while walking towards him. He smiled and patted my head. "I know....". After about five minutes of talking to Rhydian and my new "dad" I left and went back inside to relax. When I entered inside I saw Maddie and her mum fighting about what dress she should wear. I laughed softly and went back into my room.
~TIME SKIP~
Once it hit eight I started to get ready. I went in my closest and put on my dress I made (it's up above) and put on some peach colored flats. I went into the bathroom and started to put on make up which was blush, mascara, and light pink eye shadow. I put my hair into a nice fish tail braid and walked out of the bathroom and into the living room to see Maddie's mum and dad standing there in Awww. "Why are you staring at my?" I said a little bit confused. "Because you are beautiful!" I blush and sit down on the couch waiting for Maddie and Rhydian. After about ten minutes Maddie came out in a evergreen sweet heart neck line dress that went down to her knees. She walked over to me and sat down putting on her black high heels. "Now we just have to wait for Rhydian" I said and then the front door open....
