Rose's POV

It's been a two months since Harry told me about the accident in Kenya. I haven't really had a good night sleep since that day. I feel heartbroken and betrayed and most of all I feel so fucking lonely. I haven't really talked to anyone about it. Gemma called me a few times asking me how I was and I always responded with "yeah I'm fine thanks." She knew I wasn't, but I think she noticed that I didn't really want to talk about it.

One good thing that happened is that I got that solo. I've been rehearsing non stop lately which was good. It got my mind off of things, but every night when I got in bed the loneliness kicked in. I am not as angry as I was at first. I realize that Harry has his issues and that one of those is drinking. It's never an excuse, but I understand that he needs help more than me screaming at him. I'm just not going to be the one to help him. He's going to need to figure it out by himself. I'm not angry anymore I just don't want to look at him.
I took out my phone to look at the time and I noticed a message from Liam. Liam? How did he even get my number?

"Meet me at the diner asap."

That was all it said. What diner? And why? I looked at David who was quietly playing on the floor. I was kind of curious what this was about.

"David, how would you like to go to auntie Maggie for a little while?" I asked.

"Okay." David responded without looking at me.

I grabbed his shoes and put them on. "Let's go sweetie you can bring your toys." I said as I tried to get him to move.

Finally he got up and we walked out. Luckily Maggie was home and she welcomed us with her warm smile as usual. I thanked her and let her know I'd be back very soon. I gave David a kiss and left. I figured Liam meant the diner I work at otherwise he would've been more specific, so I walked over to the diner and Jackie greeted me as I came in. I looked around the room looking for Liam, but I didn't see him. Suddenly I felt a firm hand on my shoulder and I quickly turned around expecting to see Liam.

"Harry?" What was he doing here?

"Hi Rosie, how've you been?" He said with a smile.

For a slight moment I wanted to forget everything and kiss him. Even though I didn't want to be near this man, I couldn't help myself but feel kind of relieved to seen him again.

"I'm fine Harry." I said as I turned around without asking him how he was. Just because he made me want to curl up in his arms does not mean he deserves me to.

"Rose wait. Can we talk? Please?" He said and though I didn't see him I knew he was frowning. I turned around to look at him. I was right he was frowning.

"I don't know Harry. There's not much to talk about." I said.

"Please just hear me out?" He begged and I saw some sort of desperation and fear in his eyes. I wanted to say something when I saw Liam walk in.

I looked at him and he smiled at me. I waved back and Harry turned around to look at who I was waving at. Something happened because Liam's face changed from happy to worried. Harry quickly turned around and stared me straight in the eyes. It was almost terrifying but then again not.

"Why is he here?" Harry asked coldly.

"He asked me to meet him here. What do you care?" I said crossing my arms in front of me.

"I don't. Just don't let him get into your head." He said and walked away.

What was that about? I took a deep breath. I didn't really know how I felt about seeing Harry again. For some reason he made my stomach flutter as always and I did not want to let that feeling back in, but I just couldn't help it. I shook it off and walked over to Liam who was still standing near the door.
