Dark (Louis version)

Chapter 19

I've been thinking a lot about when Louis said he loved me. I realized I love him too but tonight was the night of the fight. I feel like I should tell him tonight. He hasn't pressured me about it all week. Farrah has been ignoring me since I didn't pick her over Louis but I wouldn't make her choose. I told Haley about the fight tonight and she said she would come. I decided not to go to school today so I could spend the day with Louis. I was in his living room watching tv since I was up before him and I wanted him to sleep. A little bit after I started watching tv, I heard some foot steps coming down the hallway. I knew it was Louis. He came around the couch and sat next to me. He kissed me then said "Good morning beautiful. How long have you been awake?"

"Not very long."

"Good. I want to spend some time with you before we have to go to the fight."

"I still don't want you to do the fight."

"I know but I'm doing it for you."

"I still don't think he's worth the time."

Louis took my hand and said "He is worth the time. He's the reason it was so hard for you to trust me and hard for you to love someone again."

"Yeah it was hard."

"wWhat do you mean was?"

"I love you."

He looked a little shocked then he lent down and kissed me then said "I love you too."

I smiled and said "I was going to wait till right before the fight to tell you that."

He pulled me into him and said "I'm glad you didn't wait."

"Why?"

"I would have been distracted during the fight then."

"I don't want you to get hurt."

"I won't."

"Promise."

"Promise."

He asked "Are you ready yet?"

I knew what he was talking about. He didn't need to say it.

"Yeah. I just want to wait for a better time though."

"I understand. I know today is going to be stressful for you."

"Yeah, I don't want you getting hurt."

"I won't."

"I know. I just know that it could still happen."

He lent down and kissed me. Neither of us pulled away and when he realized I wasn't, he moved to he was hovering over me. He pushed his tongue into my mouth and we made out. Then he tried taking my shirt off and I pulled away and said "Not now."

"I know."

He pecked my lips one more time then sat up. He asked "Is your friend Haley and her boyfriend coming to the fight?"

"Yeah."

"I heard something about Nick yesterday."

"What?"

"I heard that he's bringing a girl to the fight to try and make you jealous."

"It won't work, I have you."

Louis smiled and said "I'm glad you think that."

We cuddled for awhile then Louis said "I think we need to get ready and leave."

"Alright."

I got up and went to his bedroom and he followed me. I grabbed my clothes and started to walk towards his bathroom when he said "You can just change in here with me."

I smiled and said "No."

Then I went in the bathroom and changed. I came out and saw that he was waiting for me. He grabbed my hand and lead me to the car. On the way to the boxing match I asked "Are you nervous?"

"No."

"Isn't he in the weight class above yours?"

"Yeah, but remember I punch above my weight class. So will you please stop worrying."

"I'll try."

When we got there he opened my door and grabbed my hand. We walked in and I saw the big area where the boxing match would be. There was a boxing ring in the middle and there were a lot of chairs. Louis walked down a hall that was blocked off to other people and into the second room down the hall. We walked in and I saw that there was a table, a couple of benches and a punching bag. Louis walked me over to a table and sat me on it. He said "I have to go change will you stay here?"

"Yeah"

He leant down and kissed me then went and changed. I saw a guy walk in and he came over and said "Hi I'm Jacob. I'm Louis' friend and trainer."

"Hi."

"You're Abby aren't you?"

"Yeah."

"Louis doesn't say much about you."

"I've heard that."

I saw Zach walk in and he sat on one of the benches. Louis walked in and came over to where Jacob and I were sitting and he kissed me then said ''I have to warm up please stay here."

"Okay."

Jacob went over with Louis and Zach to help him warm up. I got thirsty and I got up and I remembered seeing a water machine down the hall. I walked down the hall and I saw someone down at the end but I couldn't tell who. When I got down there and I realized it was Nick. He saw me and smiled. He moved so he could lean on the wall and I went to the machine and got a water. He asked "So are you're still with him?"

"Yeah."

"You know he won't win."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you."  

Then I heard Louis yell "Where is Abby?"

I saw him come out of the room and Nick went back into his room. Louis came down and grabbed me hand and walked me back down to his room.
