Chapter 35

The next morning I woke up early and realized I had school. I looked over and saw that Louis was awake. He smiled and said "Good morning beautiful."

I smiled and said "Good morning."

He lent down and kissed me and said "We have to get up."

"I know."

"Are you worried about seeing Nick today?"

"No, should I be?"

"No, I think he'll leave you alone now."

We got up and started getting ready. I saw Louis start getting ready. When I was done I saw that Louis wasn't in here anymore. I walked out and went into the living room. I saw that he was in there. I grabbed my bag and Louis saw me he smiled and asked "Are you ready?"

"Yep."

He grabbed my hand and we walked out to his car. He drove me to school and when he got there he opened my door and he leant down and kissed me then said "I love you."

"I love you too."

I started walking towards the building and I saw Haley. She said "Hey. I saw you and Louis this morning."

I laughed and said "You should have. We were just in the parking lot."

"How is everything with you two?"

"Good. We moved in with each other. So how is it with you and your boyfriend?"

"Good we were talking about moving in together."

"Haven't you guys been going out longer than me and Louis have?"

"Yeah but we stay at each others apartments all the time."

We walked into the classroom and I saw Nick sitting there and the only two seats left were by him. Haley made me sit next to him. I saw that Nick had a lot of bruises some cuts. He saw me and smiled. He said "Hey."

"Hi."

"Are you still with Louis after what happened?"

"Yeah."

He seemed a little surprised and asked "Why? Weren't you mad about what he did to me?"

"I love him and I wasn't mad I was scared. I mean I don't want to visit my boyfriend in jail."

He seemed surprised by my answer and he asked "Do you care about me anymore?"

"No, you used to hit me. Why should I?"

"I still care about you. I worry if you're safe with him or not."

"He keeps me safer than you did."

He stayed quiet the rest of class and I could tell he was staring at me. The rest of the day went by fast which I was glad about. I saw Nick looking at me a lot. When all my classes were over I walked outside and I saw Louis waiting for me. I smiled when I saw him. When I got to him he kissed me and asked "How was your day?"

''Good. Yours?"

"It's good now."

I laughed and I asked "Why?"

"Because you're here. I missed you today."

"It was just a couple hours."

"So. I still missed you."

We got in his car and he drove to our apartment. Louis went to the kitchen when we got there and I went into the living room. I laid down on the couch and the next thing I knew I was asleep.

I woke up to someone kissing me. I knew it was Louis. He smiled and said "I made us dinner."

"Really?"

"Yep."

I got up and he kissed me. We went into the kitchen and sat down at the table. We started eating and Louis asked "Did you see Nick today?"

"Yeah."

"Did he talk to you?"

"Yeah."

"What did he say?"

"He asked a lot about us and then he said he still cared about me."

"What did you say after that?"

"Nothing really."

"I still don't like him."

"I know. I don't either."

He smiled and asked "Are you still not worried?"

"Yeah. There's nothing to worry about yet."

"You're right."

"Please stop worrying."

"I'll try."

We finished eating and I put my plate In the sink and I didn't realize Louis was behind me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and he started kissing my neck. I asked "What are you doing?"

"I want you."

"Maybe we should wait."

"Why?"

"Remember what happened last time."

"You're right. Do you want to wait till we know?"

"Yeah."

"Alright."

"Let's watch a movie."

"Okay but I get to pick."

I laughed and said "Alright."

He grabbed my hand and walked into the living room. We started watching a movie when Louis said "I'm sure you're right everything will be fine."
