Chapter 31

I went to Haley's apartment and she wasn't here since she was at her boyfriends apartment. I woke up and my phone was going off. I saw Louis' name on the screen. I answered it. He said "I'm surprised you answered."

"Why?"

"Because of last night."

"Oh."

"Do you want me to come get you and we can come back to my apartment."

"Yeah. I'm here by myself."

"I'm leaving now. I'll see you in about ten minutes. I love you."

"I love you too."

I got off the phone and and brushed my hair. I had clothes at Haley's so I changed then when I was done I heard a knock on the door. I knew it was Louis and I opened it. He smiled and said "I missed you."

"I missed you too."

He kissed me then said "Let's go."

He grabbed my clothes and my hand then walked me out to his car. He put my clothes in the back seat and opened my door then walked around and got in. On the way back to his apartment we were quiet. We didn't say anything. When we got there he got my clothes and took them to his room and I went into the living room. I sat on the couch and Louis came in and sat next to me. He pulled me close to him. He said "I didn't sleep too much last night."

"Why?"

"You weren't there in my arms. I felt weird."

"It didn't feel right not being in your arms."

He smiled and asked "Do you just want to move in?"

"I don't know. Is it too soon?"

"No."

"Yeah."

He smiled and asked "So you're moving in?"

"Yeah."

He lent down and kissed me and said "I love spending time with you."

I smiled and asked "When do you want me to get my stuff?"

"We can go now."

"Alright."

We went to my mom's house then I started to worry about my dad being there. The last time didn't go so well with him. We got there and Louis asked "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm just worried about my dad. He doesn't like you."

"I know but it will be fine."

"Alright."

He grabbed my hand and we walked in. I saw my mom in the living room. She saw us and said "Hey, what are you guys doing here?"

"I came to get my stuff. I'm going to move in with Louis."

She smiled and said "I'm not surprised. I expected it to be sooner."

"So, you're okay with this?"

"Yeah. I think you to are cute together."

"Where's my father?"

"He's at the store."

"I'm going to get my stuff before he gets back."

"You might want to hurry then."

Louis and I went upstairs and started packing my stuff then we heard the front door open. I looked at Louis and he asked "What?"

"I think my dad is back here."

"Oh, then maybe we should hurry."

We finished packing my stuff and took it down to his car. We went back in and I saw that my mom was still in the living room. I went in there and said "I have all my stuff packed and in his car."

"Alright. Are you still going to come see me?"

"Yeah."

I saw my dad walk in from the kitchen and Louis put his arm around my waist. Louis whispered in my ear "Maybe we should go."

My mom said "I guess I'll see you later then."

Then my dad said "What do you mean by that?"

She said "Abby is moving in with Louis."

He said "I don't like it."

She said "She's 18. She can do what she wants."

He looked at me and said "I don't want you to move out with him."

"Why? There's nothing you can do."

"I know about what he has done."

"What do you know?"

I felt Louis tense beside me then my dad said "He used to fight?"

"I knew that."

"You still want to move in with him?"

"Yeah."

"He's too dangerous. I don't think you should move in with him."

Louis looked mad and he said "I'm not going to hurt her. She's basically my everything and I love her. There's nothing you can do about this."

Louis grabbed my hand and walked me out to his car before he could say anything else. I got in and he walked around and he got in. I asked "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm just mad."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine but there's nothing your dad can do about us."

"I know."

"You know I would never hurt you on purpose."

"I know."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

He smiled and grabbed my hand. When we got to his apartment we took all my stuff and put it in his room since it was all clothes. When we finished he smiled and pulled me into him and said "I'm glad you live here now. If you wanted to be at your moms house we would have to worry about either of them walking in on us."

"Yeah. I didn't like that my dad walked into my room and went through my stuff."

"Yeah. That's how he found out we had sex."

"Yeah, but he can't do anything about us even though he wants to."

Louis lent down and kissed me and said "Maybe we should go out and have dinner with your mom. She likes us together and we won't have to worry about your dad or anyone else."

"Yeah. Can I ask you something?"

He smiled and said "Yeah but let's sit down first."

He walked into the living room and sat on the couch. He said "Go ahead."

"Are you going to talk to your mom again?"

"I don't know."

"Can you?"

"Do you want me to talk to her?"

"Yeah maybe it would be good for you two to talk again and you can talk to your sisters again."

"Yeah then I'll talk to her again."

I smiled and said "Thank you."

"I'm only doing it for you."
