Dark (Louis version)

Chapter 38

I realized why the boys were staring at me and Louis in shock. I said that I was pregnant with his baby but I didn't think they heard me. I thought they were joking around and wouldn't hear me. I looked at Louis and I saw that he realized why they were looking at us too. I asked "What?"

Harry asked "You're pregnant?"

"Umm."

I don't know if Louis wanted to tell them or not.

Louis said "Yeah. She is and it's my baby."

Liam asked "Is that what you were surprised about earlier?"

Louis said "Yeah because we just found out today."

Zayn said "I wasn't expecting to hear something like that."

Louis said "I wasn't expecting that today either but we've been worrying about this for a couple weeks."

I laughed and said "You've been worrying about it for a couple weeks. I didn't worry about it till I started throwing up."

I saw that Niall had finished his ice cream and he asked "When were you two going to tell us about this?"

Louis said "After we told her parents and my mum. So probably in about a month."

Zayn asked "Why wait so long?"

Louis said "I don't know."

Harry asked "How are you dealing with it?"

Louis said "We are obviously keeping it. I'm happy, I mean I wanted to have a kid but I was hoping maybe later in life."

Harry said "I'm surprised you let that happen."

Louis asked "What do you mean?"

Harry said "Aren't you extra careful when you have sex?"

Louis said "Yeah but sometimes things break."

I felt awkward being there while they were talking about it. I don't understand why Harry would bring how Louis usually is. Louis asked the boys "Do you want to come back to our apartment? We can watch a movie."

They all said yeah. Louis grabbed my hand and we all started walking back to the apartment. All the boys were being loud and joking around. When we got there I told Louis I was going to our bedroom to change. Louis told the boys "I'll be right back. Don't break anything." Louis and I went to our bedroom and I changed into a t shirt and yoga pants. Louis asked "Are you okay with them being around?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You've been quiet since we've been around them today."

"I've done a lot of thinking today and I'm starting to worry about things."

"Are you worried about us?"

"Yeah."

He came over and pulled me into his chest and he said "Theres nothing to worry about. We'll still be together."

I smiled and he said "I still love your smile."

I started blushing and he said "I love it when you blush too."

"We should probably get out there before he boys destroy our apartment."

"You're right. Who knows what they would do."

Louis grabbed my hand and we walked out to the living room and Louis and I sat on one couch and Liam and Harry on the other and Zayn and Niall sat on the floor. I asked "What movie are we going to watch?"

They all said "I don't know."

Niall said "I want to watch a scary movie."

I looked at Louis since I knew I would get scared. He knew I would too and he said "I'll be right here. Nothing will happen to you."

Niall put in the movie and it started. I cuddled up to Louis. After about 40 minutes I started getting scared. I saw that Louis noticed since he held me a little closer to him. I looked over and saw that all the boys were fine except Harry. He looked mad for some reason. I started to wonder why. Was there really anything for him to be mad? I looked up at Louis and he smiled and he lent down and kissed me. We went back to watching the movie. When it was over Niall said "I'm hungry."

Louis asked "When aren't you hungry?"

Niall said "I don't know."

I laughed. I saw that Harry still looked mad. All the boys except him went into the kitchen. I asked "What's wrong Harry?"

"Nothing."

"You can tell me."

"It's just that Louis is different since the last time I saw him. I don't know if I like it."

"What has changed?"

"I've never seen him have a girlfriend till now, so that's different. He doesn't seem as violent or party as much. He used to drink a lot."

"Does me being around really change how he is?"

"Yeah, it's better."

"Then there's nothing to be upset about."

I went into the kitchen and saw the boys sitting down at the table. I sat next to Louis then I saw Harry come in. After awhile the boys left and I went into our bedroom. Louis came in and laid next to me on the bed and asked "What did you talk to Harry about earlier?"

"I asked him why he was upset and he told me."

"I knew why, but part of it is that I spend a lot of time with you and he doesn't like it especially now that we're having a baby."

I didn't know what to say. I guess he was just jealous. Louis kissed me and said "Let's get some sleep. Good night beautiful. "I fell asleep soon after that.
