Chapter 28: The Dark one

Percy woke up to the smell of damp wood and hard floor. He groaned and felt the water from the near by stream glide into his dry skin giving him power. Percy climbed to his feet followed by delmi.

"Why is it that whenever we fall, Mason is the last to wake up" delmi muttered and Percy snickered. "Yeah seems so girly" she growled at Percy as they turned in time to see a woman in all black clothes, she looked like she had so much evil in her heart. It would kill to help her.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY CASTLE" she roared as her hands glowed purple. "Uhm we actually don't know". Percy's mind was racing, from the time he first met Annabeth to the time he first walked through the camps boundaries. They all just flash before him like a train of memory's hurdling down a large track.

"Once again I will say this one more time" she glared at Percy, "why are you in my castle". Percy didn't know what to say, he is the one that does the fighting, not the one who can maneuver through tough conversations.

"Well ma'am we have accidently stumbled into your castle and it seems as if are friend is hurt do you mind helping him."

Delmi tried to persuade the woman to heal Mason but no, she is somewhat very stubborn.

"Sorry I can't do that, you see I have a position of being the evil queen to keep up so if you mind LEAVE" she roared.

Suddenly out of no where she conjured a fire ball. This isn't good.

Mason grumpily shot his eyes open to see the blast of fire shoot in front of his now fear-struck eyes. Percy countered her attack with a blast of water as delmi hid from under the table and Mason had no time to think and did what he thought was right.

Mason was not the brightest of people when it comes to battle, fighting wise. On the other case Mason can surely make one heck of a strategy to save all their butts at the moment.

Percy grabbed riptide from his pocket as the evil queen summoned more fireballs and continuously fired one hitting the table. Percy growled as water flew from the window holding the queen back as Percy, Delmi, and Mason jumped from the Windows. Collapsing into the cold water bellow.

The feeling of power surged through Percy as he swam back to the surface. Gulping some fresh air. Percy could always breath under the water, it was his one of many gifts that make him...him.

Mason and delmi though can not so Percy pushed the water up to where Mason and Delmi flew out of the cold water, smashing on the damp earth.

"Come on guys we have to leave" Percy said hauling up Delmi first then Mason lastly. The three travelers rushed through the trees the branches swiping in there faces.

"Come on" a voice grunted as Percy looked up from the fire, the two pendants laying still and calm on his neck. A man in his young twenties from the seems with black hair and a hook for his right hand stood there, well almost to our camp site but not close enough.

"Mason....Delmi... Wake up" I whispered as the two younger teens yawned stretching. Percy put out the fire as the man approached them his eyes coursing with anticipation. The green
Of a pirate now showing itself.

"Well mate I'm guessing that you three are alone" the man asked the hook gleaming. "Yea we are.... Lost as you may say." His face seemed to tense at a sudden urge as he lifted his hook.

"You can stay with me at my ship if you like, since I would be positive you kids can't keep yourself suitable in this environment" Percy and Delmi growled inside at the thought of not being able to fight but the both nodded Mason following lastly into the night.

Light be told in the dark of night,
When the wind blows but no wind stirs.
When all the light fades and day settles in, the men in black stride again.
Midnight stirs and the Hero strides the men in black stand no chance.
When the light is soon to fade, the hero comes and saves the day.
