Chapter 3: alone

Mason's POV:

It's killing me. Keeping a secret from my only friends that I have ever have meet or known. I can't believe it though. I can't keep it forever if they discover it though they will think I'm a freak. And since I am it won't do much.

Imagine this. Your the worlds first magician that seemed to show his face against the harsh reality of the world. Everyone will probably beat me up.

I stared at the sky as I kicked some dust away from the road. School ended a few minutes ago and my friends are besides me feeling my pain.

"Ugh..um guys I have something to tell you" I said rubbing the back of my neck. I started to cry from the tension as the world seemed to swirl around me. "What" Delmi asked as Saniah stared curiously. "Guys do you know how setosorcerer has powers in all the fandoms we read" I asked curiously.

They nodded as I gulped not wanting to tell.

"Guys I...i...I have powers". The world around me became quiet as they stared at me shocked delmi's eyes becoming red for some reason. Samiah turned to my horrifying thoughts as she told me to run holding Delmi back.

I felt tears well up in my eyes as I took of down the dirt path tears gushing down my eyes as the world seemed to vanish. I continued to run through the darkness as the shadows seemed to comfort me.

"I'm on my alone against the world now since my friends some how hate me" I said crying to God. The sky around me demateralized away like the tardis from doctor who as I felt the world around me vanish. I felt like dying on the inside as I remember my parents horrifying death. 

Flashback:

My parents and I ran around the field as their smiles seemed to enlighten my mood. My ear buds were in as I just stared at my body. It has a year since I have discovered my powers that my parents kept hidden. I felt tears gush down my face. I know my powers were a curse but a curse that seemed to catch up faster than I thought. I felt more tears fill my eyes. My eyes seemed to brighten in golden light as two screams were heard.

My heart broke as the light faded showing my dead parents laying on top of eachother their eyes so lost of life they used to have.

Delmi's POV:

"Why" Samiah asked as I just stared at the direction were mason was running. "I I I sky should have told you" I sighed as we walked back to the pack house.

It has been an hour since Mitch asked to pick us up but we decided to walk with them. "Mitch" I asked as I walked through the door. His brown hair filled my eyes as he picked me up and carried me to the couch.

"What" he asked as I stared at my feet, "do you know mason" I asked as he nodded. "H-h-I think I found seto's lost brother" his eyes dropped and his jaw followed as Samiah just stared nothing to say.

"But there's something else.... He he has the blood that my inner vampire is craving".
