Chapter 22: The one day you hope Fire wont hurt

Mason's POV;

My arms trembled and my head hurt like crap but I'm fine. My eyes opened slowly to see the weirdest thing, I was in a tent filled with men with weird looking armor.

"Ah you're  awake" the main man said with a smirk as he kneeled down beside me to tighten the ropes. "let me go" I yelled as he smirked a lot more. "No you are just as strong as the avatar and I need to keep you prisoner". I pulled against the ropes anger striking in everyone's eyes as my eyes glowed yellow. "I said LET ME GO" I screamed as a golden light burst from my body everyone getting thrown backwards the ropes vanishing. I got up smirking but also horrified at what just happened.

"Guards the prisoners have escaped" commander Pip yelled as fire smashed into my side. I screamed in pain as my eyes glowed blue. The water slowly started to rise as Percy fought off most of the men. a wave slowly rose from the river smashing into the guards as the slowly got dragged down the river by the current.

Percy smirked and stole two sets of armor as we ran to the tents to put them on.

Katara was horrified at what might have happened. Her heart ached for Percy to return.
If. She only knew what was happening.

Toff is looking with Aang for Percy and Mason as Delmi just stayed asleep looking for a way to remember. They presume that they are just friends but when Katara saw how the closer they got the more light they produce together.

I also witnessed once when they got here or well fell here they seemed to be glowing in a kind of way. Almost as if they have superpowers.

The bushed rattled as two fire nation men came out of the darkness. I grabbed my bottle of water and charged at the two men hitting them hard against the head. Wait? I looked up to see Percy and Mason laying on the floor gasping from the lack of air.

"Percy, Mason" Delmi ran up to them and tackled them both in a hug there Delmi and Masons hand connecting in the hug there body glowing a soft glow. "So what even happened?" Sokka returned through the bushes holding Momo for the first time ever. "well we got ambushed or well kidnapped by the fire nation as you say" Percy rubbed the back of his neck as Mason just laughed weirdly. "Well come on we will have to find Aang and Toff and get to the river bed before sunset." They all nodded and walked into the trees to look for the two heroes and the river.

The cold water soared around Percy's Feet as Delmi and Mason climbed in after the gang putting on their bathing suits (which is just shorts and all clothing for the girls).

Percy Witnessed something back at the fight that I don't believe can happen. Mason seemed like a pro at moving the water when his emotions get out of whack.

So let's just test that theory.

With the rock in Percy's pocket back at shore he used the waves to make a little smack into Masons back, sending him sprawling to the floor.

I laughed as Mason's Face reddened in embarrassment Katara doing some strange moves to move the water. "PERCY" Mason yelled as the water around him glowed a slight golden light. His body rose out of the water a massive wave forming underneath him as Katara and Aang watch the Thing occur.

Percy smirked as the water rose higher and higher his eyes flipping wide open to see the 20 ft high wave smash into him. the wave flipped Percy more and more down the river as the water current seemed to reverse sending him back to the way he came. Another wave formed as Percy was slammed into the shore, grinning and still shocked he shook off the dirt and debre off his pants and got back

ratherly important the gang watched in awe as the water calmed sending Mason tumbling into the water. I swam out to Mason and pulled him back to shore to rest then went back out.

Katara seemed rather happy while Aang
Just watched unappealed by the fact that Katara likes Percy more. Aang has liked Katara ever since they met arm this strange boy just fell from the sky stealing her heart.

Katara has never seen that much power in water bending before and she might never see it again. Percy say in the water focusing on something as the water became a little choppier as Aang finally got in the water. "So Percy you say you can WaterBend, can you show us" Aang full of life like usual jumping around the river like a frog.

"Sure" Percy held his hands to the water not moving as Katara studied his motions. There were no motions, just the steady NonMoving hands as the water rose higher and higher the current becoming stronger and stronger against katara's feet.

She let out a gasp as the hight of the wave increased to a higher level. The wave slowly started to collapse as Percy let go of all his thoughts and let the water splash against us making Sokka go flying down stream.

The darkness surrounded mason as he tried to find the inner peace that his body usually had. "Tick Tock" a voice at the back of his mind said with a smirk as a scream was heard from the darkness around him. Mason's Body continued to tense as something entered his mind, something that I don't believe is good.

"Im coming for you time traveler and be warned it will be real soon" there was another laugh piercing the air that once used to be still. "Tick Tock" the voice repeated as the darkness faded.

Mason gasped and let out a loud sigh as he watched everything around him rush in a blur. Wait I'm not moving. Percy was carrying me, what was even happening.

"Percy your making me look like the damsel In Distress" Mason laughed weirdly as Percy dragged him towards the woods laying me on the floor.

"Let me fight" I Mason cried out as Percy shook his head, "Your still to weak to fight." Mason grumbled as Percy ran back towards the Fight. "What did that anyway mean" Mason asked himself silently not knowing that someone was watching him.

The fight lasted a long while almost 10 to 20 minutes since we were all weak from the lack of strength. Percy seemed weak as Delmi and Mason said there goodbyes Percy tossing the multi colored rock on the ground a vortex with mass gravitational force that can bend trees feet away. The three let their feet give as they tumbled away from the world they got used to, to the next.
