Saniah's POV:

The wind picked up around where I was dropped off as I climbed out of my parents car. The wind seemed to pick up as a storm slowly and swiftly devoured through the sky taking its hold on the beauty of the sun. I grabbed my hat that was starting to fly away as I charged into the school my parents leaving, like
Nothing happened.

I grabbed the handle and jumped through the door as the doors that I just opened smashed shut to the force of the wind. I walked down the hallways that were dark and somewhat mysterious as something caught my eye.

It was a fire, or I thought it was. IT glistened in the darkness as I slowly walked to it my body having no control of my movements as I was to late to stop my self. My feet planted itself into the fire as a tingling sensation roared through my body. I screamed, but it only came out of
My lips as a whisper of sorts as the fire raged through my body. Almost like I was a rag burning in the fire that man has created.

Everything went blank, but a little speck of light showed, almost like I died. As everything went dark once more.

...

I woke up screaming at the sudden nightmare as my body trembled and shook. I grabbed my phone as I looked at the comments or text messages seeing it was from mason and delmi.

(Mason=m, Delmi=D,Samiah=S)

m=hey guys how yeah doing
d=I'm doing good
S=same
m=decent i guess
d= parents fought again so I'll be at school late
s=okay I'll see you guys later

I turned off my phone as I grabbed my worn down bookbag and started towards the school. In long strides.

Mason's POV:

I approached the school door way as the rain tapped silently against my glasses. Delmi and Saniah have been my friends since the 4th grade.

I smiled ask saw my two best friends talking to each other by the lockers. "Hey guys" I said hugging them as they hugged back.

This is going to brighten my day for sure
