"Lily honey, we're here." My mum shook me slightly, waking me from my dreams. My eyes fluttered open lazily, and I looked down at my watch, 19:43 English time.

That means it will be about 6 in the morning in Australia. Jet-lag material or what?

We all stayed on the plane for another 10 minutes or so after we landed, waiting for everyone to grab their bags and filter out. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, and turned it off of airplane mode. It pinged a few times and buzzed a few times, but I ignored it and shoved it back in my pocket. I was way too tired, and I knew that it would blind me.

We finally piled off of the plane, and the warmth of the country hit me like a bus. "Damn." I muttered, running my fingers through my hair. Mum let out a sigh of relief, and dad was already stomping ahead, eager to get going.

As we were waiting for our luggage to come off the plane, I decided to check through my phone quickly.

4 Text Messages, 2 Snapchats, 31 Facebook messages.

I guess that those little bitches were spamming me on the group chat.

I opened up the text messages first, and 3 were from Tyler.

"Hi. Have you arrived yet?!?! Seen any koalas, kangaroos or any of that shizzle?!" I laughed quietly to myself, and read the next message.

"I need photographic evidence of these animals, darl. Are you there yet? xxxx"

"LILYLOU I MISS YOU ALREADY. COME BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKK xxxx"

The last message made me frown a little. I don't want the three of them to practically mourn that I'm not there anymore. I want them to make new friends and enjoy themselves, but not forget me of course...

"Hey Ty. Just arrived, it is about 6:30am, and I am so tired. I miss you too, and no, I haven't seen any kangaroos or koalas! 😂 Love you, arsehole. xx" I replied, sighing softly.

The other text was from my aunty, wishing me well. The 2 snapchats were from Josh, pulling stupid faces with the new snapchat filters. I laughed, and made sure that I screenshot the photos.

I decided not to go on the group chat just yet, because our bags have just arrived, and it gives me something to read on the ride to our new house.

We hopped into the Australian taxi, and told them the address. I haven't seen the house before, so this was a surprise for me. I have always been a city girl, not a country girl really. So I'm quietly praying that we are near a town, but not too far away from nature.

The drive took about an hour, and I read the messages from the chat.

Josh: "Do you think she got the things we put in her suitcase? She probably got the sweets and blanket in her carryon bag..."

Tyler: "I don't know Josh, she may have done. Do you think she'll like the bear and the hoodies?"

Maisy: "BOYS, SHUT UP. THIS IS A GROUP CHAT. ARE YOU REALLY THAT STUPID?!?!"

Tyler: "Whoops. Josh, I'm blaming it on you."

Josh: "OI, THAT ISN'T FAIR. NOT MY FAULT. I WAS CURIOUS."

Tyler: "Curious George. I'm so funny."

I scrunched my nose up, grinning. He thinks he is a comedian, bless him. I read the rest of the messages and replied,

"Hey dickheads, I am in Australia now. Got here at about 6am. It is so hot already at it isn't even the afternoon yet. Miss you all. I saw the sweets and blanket in my carry on ;) Thankyou. Haven't opened my suitcase up yet though TYLER. ;) I love you all millions. Call me when you wake up tomorrow, don't worry about time difference and all of that. I'll most probably be stuck with English time at the minute due to jet lag. Love from your favourite person ;) xoxoxoxo"

I sent the message, then took a funny photo of myself, sending it afterwards.

The taxi stopped, and the engine shut off. "We're here, folks." The driver announced, his Australian accent strong.

I looked out of the window in awe.

The house was stunning. (Photo at the side)

Not taking my eyes off of the house, I slowly got out of the taxi, and grabbed my backpack and suitcase. I stared at the house for a while. "T-This house?" I mumbled to my mum.

She nodded happily, grinning from ear to ear. "Welcome home, Lils!!" She hugged me tightly and I laughed quietly, completely in love with the house. I was so grateful for everything my parents have done. I can't thank them enough.

My phone pinged and I flicked the message open, scanning it quickly.

Maisy: "I told the boys to shut up, but they didn't listen. ;) I'm glad you made it there safely. I stayed up to get your message, I'm so cute! Haha! I love you billions sis, I'll call you tomorrow. xoxox"

I turned on my selfie camera and held it up to the house, pulling an ugly face, making sure I got some double chins in. I sent it on the group chat.

"Hey MTV, Welcome to my crib."

---

I was sat in my new bedroom, unpacking some clothes and essentials that I needed out A.S.A.P

I picked up a leaflet that was given to me by my mum a minute ago.

"Oaklands High Science school."

I read the leaflet, all about my new school. I have always been better at science than I have at PE lets say. The school was massive. 5 buildings, a swimming pool, tennis court, gym.

Nervous was an understatement. I have suffered with SAD since I was about 10. Social Anxiety Disorder. SAD. It isn't as bad as others, but it just means that I am not that good at confrontation and being in confined spaces with large numbers of people. So, Oaklands high should be fun!

I sighed quietly, trying to be optimistic about the situation. I smiled, and continued to unpack my suitcase. I found a teddy bear inside, and I grinned, holding it tightly to my chest. It smelt of Josh and Taco bell. Typical.

I carefully lifted out 4 hoodies, that didn't belong to me. I pulled the first one out, a black one with a skeleton hood. Tyler. I smiled happily, smelling it. Smelling things was a habit of mine! It smelt like Tyler and strong aftershave. I put it on and cuddled into it. It was cosy since it was two or three sizes bigger. Tyler was not fat, at all. He was just taller than me, and broader like boys usually are. I am only 5'2, and he was probably about 5'8.

The 3 other hoodies belonged to Josh and Maisy. Maisy's one was a light blue colour, plain hoodie, and Josh's were red, and the other one was black.

A note was placed on top of the pile of hoodies and I read it.

"So you know we are always with you, and you can always smell our wonderful scents. - The three amigos." I giggled and rubbed my eyes, yawning.

8:37am

I pulled myself up off of the ground, and made my way over to the already made bed. I climbed inside and shut my eyes.

Hey guys! Thanks for reading this chapter. I hope it is a bit more exciting than the first chapter. Again, I promise it will get more thrilling as the story goes on.

I apologise now if there are any errors, however I have spell checked and grammar checked, so hopefully it will be okay.

Lots of love xxx
