"We'll meet you outside after lunch? Near the 3 benches?" Peter asked and I nodded, holding a pile of text books in my hands.

"Awesome, have a good one." Katie smiled.

"You too!" I answered. I walked over to my locker and twisted the code. After a few attempts it finally opened, and I dropped my text books inside sighing in relief. I grabbed my money and shoved it in my hoodie pocket, then shut my locker.

I jumped out of my skin when I saw Luke standing inches away from my locker, staring down at me.

"You're a bit jumpy, aren't you?" He flashed me his signature smile, and I looked down, hiding my hands in my pockets.

"I wouldn't be jumpy if people like you didn't make me jump." I muttered, making it sound clear still.

"Jeez, you really are moody today. Are you...You know-...On that week." He laughed, resting against the lockers.

"Do one." I hissed, shoving past him.

He grabbed my waist and gently pulled me back to face him. "Okay okay I'm sorry. That isn't why I'm here. Don't go anywhere near Jake." He said casually.

"Why?" I answered nervously.

"Because he is a jerk. He kicked me out of the football team, and I hate him."

"He is less of a jerk than you. I'm not gonna not talk to him because you don't like him! You're nothing to me, and Jake could be something. Now like I said, Do One."

Jake walked over to me, grinning as usual. "Hey Milly." He joked, making me smile. "Oh. Luke." He nodded towards Luke.

"Hey. Are you ready?" I asked, smiling up at him. Luke was breathing heavy, and I looked over at him out of the corner of my eye. "What is your problem?!"

"He is weird and messed up, let's go." Jake laughed, staring at Luke.

Before I knew it, Luke slammed Jake into the wall by his throat and was punching him roughly.

"LUKE!" I screamed.

I ran towards them, but I was pulled away by a random girl. I tugged away from her and squeezed myself in between the fight.

"STOP!!!" I yelled, pushing Jake off of Luke. Now, Jake was punching Luke right in the face several times. Luke's nose was dripping with blood, and so was his lip. His eye was starting to bruise already, and Jake wouldn't stop.

"Jake, get off of him!" I screamed again, pushing Jake's chest hard. He went to punch Luke again but missed, and punched me in the jaw. I stumbled back, squeezing my eyes shut in pain, and fell into Luke's chest. I placed a hand on my jaw, shaking.

"YOU COMPLETE ARSEHOLE! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR?" Luke yelled.

"I didn't mean to!!! She was in the way, and quite frankly I wanted to kill you!" Jake spat.

"You're so messed up and screwed! You'll never live a happy life because everyone you love has left you and will never come back! You have nobody! And that makes me so happy because you deserve no one!" Jake hissed at Luke, facing him.

I slapped Jake across the face, hard. "You're the dickhead here! NEVER tell anyone that they don't deserve anyone! That is so harsh. I thought you were actually nice, but you're one of the worst people I have ever met in my life." I was shaking out of fear. Where the hell did this confidence come from, and why the hell was I sticking up for my bully?!

Luke lightly grabbed my wrist and pulled me away.

I looked up at him and gasped at the mess Jake has made to his face.
