Tylers P.O.V

I stared emotionlessly at the wall in front of me. Josh nudged my shoulder.

"Dude, what happened?" He asked, looking nervous and mad.

"Some dickhead took her phone from her, and then it was cut off." I mumbled, looking up at him.

Maisy walked in since Josh called her and told her she needed to come over urgently. "Guys! What is going on? Are you both alright?" She asked, panicking.

"T-They're bulling Lily again. They're pulling her hair and taking photos of her and making fun of her scars and one keeps throwing himself onto her." I answered, my voice raising.

"What the hell has she done? NOTHING! SHE HASN'T DONE A THING. SHE IS SO GOD DAMN LOVELY AND PEOPLE CAN'T ACCEPT THAT!" I yelled, making Maisy jump slightly.

My legs dropped me onto the couch and I cried into my hands quietly. Maisy walked over and frowned, putting her head on my shoulder. She rubbed my back and I sniffled. "Tyler, what do you want us to do about it?" She asked softly, wiping her cheek. She must've been crying too.

"I-...I don't know." I admitted.

"We can't go to Australia now, as much as I would love to see my Lils again. School has started, and we don't have the money." She sighed, still rubbing my back.

Josh walked over at sat next to us both.

"I promised we'll all go and see her for her birthday, and that is 3 months away. Mum said she will fund us the tickets, we just need to get money for supplies whilst we are there. We will see her soon Ty, I promise." Josh was nodding to himself, as if he was confirming it.

I sighed, wiping my eyes and standing up. "I don't want her to get hurt."

"None of us do. But Tyler, she is a big girl, she can stand up for herself." Maisy stood up too, standing beside Josh.

"You think so?" I asked, my eyes feeling heavy and sore.

"I know so." Josh smiled, patting my shoulder, then hugging me.

Lily's P.O.V

I got up the next day for school, dreading it. After showering, I yanked on some black leggings, and a white shirt. I pulled on Josh's red hoodie and zipped it up. Looking at myself in the mirror, I sighed. Why me? Am I an easy target? Do I look different to everyone else? I have only just overcome my last bullies 2 years ago, and now I feel like my life is going back on itself.

My eyes are heavy, dark bags underneath. I have lost weight, but not too much. Since moving to Australia, I have lost my appetite. I don't starve myself at all! I just eat my 3 meals a day, and nothing else. I decided to braid my long hair to the side, and let my fringe hang over the side of my face.

I applied some makeup, but not as much as yesterday. Some concealer, some eyeliner and some lip balm.

I was already quite late, so I skipped breakfast. Mum drove me to school like usual, asking me what the school was like.

I lied, telling her how much I loved it and how lovely everybody is. I climbed out of the car as we arrived, and walked through the gates, my head down.

I pulled the hood up, trying to blend in with the crowd. Luckily for me, I got past the four boys without them seeing me.

The bell rang as I was stood by my locker, picking out what books I needed. My locker door slammed shut, my hand still inside. The door smacked my wrist, making me shout and drop my books. I looked up, my eyes watering, and I saw Calum and Ashton.

"When did you sneak in?" Ashton asked. I looked down at my red wrist, a bruise already starting to form.

"When I got out of the car and walked through the gate and passed you." I answered sarcastically, angry about my wrist.

He looked at me as if I have just killed his dog or something.

"Sarcastic much?" He raised his voice.

"Rude much! You slammed my locker on my wrist. Are you blind or did you just want to inflict pain on me. You sir, are an arsehole. And so are you!" I pointed at Calum. "And so are your little bum buddies, Michael and Luke! Now if we are done here, I need to get to my next lesson." I smirked.

This little speech of mine gained an applause from everybody in the corridor, some wolf whistling. I raised an eyebrow at the two flabbergasted boys in front of me and waved.

"Bye, guys."

Peter and Katie ran towards me and grabbed me in a hug. "THAT WAS AMAZING!!!" They giggled, walking beside me to the classroom.

"Nobody ever stands up to those four, and you did it with style!" Katie explained, looking mesmerised by my actions.

"Thanks?" I asked, laughing with them.

A guy walked up to me, a friendly smile on his face.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jake." He smiled, shaking my hand

"Hi." I smiled, admiring his attractiveness. "I'm Lily."

"Nice to meet you Lily. I was wondering if you wanted to sit with us at lunch? Oh, by us I mean a few of my friends from the football team and some of the Science girls." He looked nervous.

"Sure, I would love to." I replied, after looking at Peter and Katie for confirmation. They usually sit with their own clique at lunch anyway, and there is never any room at their table.

"Awesome. Uhhh- I'll meet you at the lockers before lunch if you want?"

"Yeah, that will be great. Thank you again, jack. I mean Jake! Sorry!" I laughed quietly, mentally slapping myself.

"Cool! And it's alright, don't worry Milly." He joked, deliberately getting my name wrong. I grinned and waved, as he walked away.

"Oooooh!!!! Somebody likes you!!!" Peter sung, as we walked into our class.

"Shush you!!!" I laughed, trying to hide my blush.

Luckily, the boys weren't in this class, so I had time to actually learn things and stop being so paranoid.

The first half of the day went well, great actually. I felt good for once, and I have made some friends!
