Danny paced back and forth in his room. Worry lingered in his mind. He just could stop thinking about his brother rejecting him if he found out that he grew up to be the most evil ghost in history. He sighed and fell back on to his bed. Suddenly there was a knock at his door. Danny groaned as he sat up and shuffled over to the door. He opened it to reveal his brother. Danny plastered a fake cheery smile on his face. "Uh hey bro what's up?" Danny asked in a fake happy tone. Robin gave him a look that told him he wasn't buying his act at all. "Danny you can't fool your brother I hope you know that." Robin said. Danny sighed. "Danny I know you lied about that ghost be minor yesterday. Why did he have on the same symbol that's on your jumpsuit?" Robin asked. "I can't tell you." Danny stuttered. This made Robin even more more worried than before. His brother always told him everything. Why couldn't he now? "Danny please." Robin pleaded. Danny thought about taking the risk of telling him but his fears overtook him and he couldn't. "I can't." Danny repeated. Robin couldn't stand seeing his brother so worried and he wanted to know the cause of it. "Danny please tell me. I'll understand whatever it is." Robin continued to beg. "No you wouldn't..." Danny said trying to make his brother give up. "Why wouldn't I understand?" Robin continued. Danny felt like his brain was going to explode if his brother continued. "I just can't tell you! You wouldn't understand I'm sorry!" Danny nearly yelled. Robin was shocked at his brother's outburst but he understood that he needed some space. "I'm sorry I'm just worried about you. You don't have to tell me but I'll be here if you need me." Robin said as he put his hand on his brother's shoulder. He then walked out the door looking over his shoulder at his bother one last time before fully exiting. The door slid closed behind him. Danny fell face first on to his bed and cried in to his pillow. Robin sighed as he heard the small sobs outside his brother's door. He raised his hand debating on knocking again. But he decided against it thinking he would just make his brother more upset. He slowly walked out to the main room. He slumped down on the couch. Danny's face slowly rose from his pillow. He looked over at his alarm clock. The time was ten o'clock. He had been crying for about four hours. He sat up and wiped his face with the tear stained pillow. Worry continued to flow I'm his mind. He took a few deep breaths and listed to the soft noises of voices and footsteps he heard outside his door. But no matter what he did the worry kept poisoning his thoughts. Tears threatened to spill once more but he pushed them back as best he could. Still a few small streams of salty tears leaked out. He wiped them away with the back of his hand. He payed back on the lightly damp pillow. The soft fluffiness surrounded his head. He slowly closed his eyes and was whisked away in to light sleep. Though his peaceful p did not last long as he was pulled in to a nightmare. Visions of his brother scoffing and turning away from him played in his head. He looked at himself and saw the face of his evil self. Images of him hurting his brother and friends flashed through his head. "No..." Danny whispered backing up. The images continued and grew worse. An image of his older self standing over his brother's dead corpse with an wicked evil grin hovered over him. "NO!" Danny yelled as he shot up from his bed. His breathing was heavy as he looked around the room. He sighed and laid back on his bed. He covered his face with his hands. "That won't happen..." Danny muttered. "I won't let it!" He turned over to face his nightstand. A framed picture of him and his brother rest on the thick wood table. He picked it up and stared at it rubbing his finger along the smooth cold glass. The photo showed Robin wrapping his arm around Danny's shoulders and giving him a noogie while Danny smiled largely closing one eye. A few tears dripped on to the corner of the photo and frame. Danny wiped them away with his thumb. He hugged the picture close to his chest. "I promise Robin I'll never hurt you ever" Danny said as he set the picture back on the nightstand and drifted off to a calm sleep.
