Search and Rescue

*Author's Note* Fair warning Owen's POV's are most likely going to be pretty short because I am just taking different scenes from the movie that have Owen and Claire in it. Enjoy.

Owen's POV

We're running through the forest coming to a stop, looking for any sign of the kids when we hear what sounds like an engine. I look at Claire while she looks at me before we take off running again to where we heard the sound come from.

We come to what looks like a garage, looking down I see tire tracks. I walk further in and see a sweatshirt laying on the ground, "Is this one of theirs," I ask bending down to pick it up, "Oh yeah," Claire breaths out in relief now knowing that they were here, and alive. I walk over to the jeep that is still here searching for keys.

"That road must lead straight back to the park," Claire says while still trying to catch her breath, "How'd they even get one of these thing started," I question in surprises, trying to see if there were any tools, or anything useful. I go to pop the hood when I hear big thundering foot steps near by, making Claire gasp jump frightened while I sink down a little lower, hiding some what behind the car.

Claire runs behind me as we both duck behind the car as the I-Rex nears. I peak around the side of the jeep realizing that I left my gun there, I go to reach for it when I see a big foot with long claws place itself close to where we wear making me move back to my original position. I turn to Claire who looks terrified, "Shh, shh," I tell her as quietly as possible, hoping she doesn't make a sound. I hear the sound of the I-Rez's breathing come closer to us before I can see it, making Claire shut her eyes and shudder in fear with a tear trickling down her face.

It presses it's face against the jeep making it lift off the ground a little, Claire turns her head so she doesn't have to see the beast before it move it's face away making the jeep fall back to the ground as it backs away slowly. I take this as an opportunity to grab my gun quickly before it comes back before moving to sit back in front of the jeep. I look at Claire and shake my head yes answering her silent question if it was gone. Claire lets out a deep breath as I let out a sigh of relief, when all of a sudden the roof of the place comes crashing down making Claire duck and cover her head as I turn my face away from the falling debris.

The I-Rex roars making as I turn to go shoot at it, noticing Claire has already left. Turning around I start to run, barely missing the jeep that was going to smash into me, instead running into the shelves against the wall. We run through the forest, I jump over a big bone as I do so, hearing the I-Rex's roars after us. We run out of the door, as I stop holding my hand out for Claire to take who just ignores it and shoot past me as fast as she can in heels. I stand there for a second with a bewildered look before running after her and soon passing her.

We've been running through the forest for about 5 minutes when Claire suddenly takes out her phone. "Lowery, we found her, South of the gyro sphere valley between the old park and the aviary," I hear her tell him through the phone. "Yes," I hear her say as we continue to run, "get ACU out hear, real guns this time," she continues to try and keep up with my pace.

Claire abruptly stops, "Whose flying it," She says with a questioning look on her face. We run through some long grass and come to a stop at the edge of some rocks, with a view of the aviary. We watch as the I-Rex crashes through the aviary before a flock of pterodactyls come flying out heading straight for the helicopter that Mr. Masrani is flying. I hear Claire take in a gasping breath seeing the pterodactyls take down the helicopter, making if fall through the roof of the aviary before landing to the ground with an explosion.

We watch as all the pterodactyls leave the aviary, heading straight for Claire and I. "To the trees, to the trees, go go," I say urgently as we begin to run for the trees. I look behind us to see a pterodactyl flying straight for us with its beak wide open. I put my hand on Claire's back pushing us both to the ground and out of the way of the pterodactyls mouth.

Shit, this is not good, not good at all I think to myself.
