If Calum had to describe it, he would simply say it was all out of

love.

Not a frown on someone's face, not a hidden emotion, but all enjoying each other's company with such joyous smiles and long-lasting laughters all shared throughout the bunch.

Yellow sun, blue skies, white clouds, green grass and beautiful people. The aura of happiness and love, was amusing to him.

Freshly cut grass filled his nostrils, as vibrations of children's giggles filled his ears that created a sound of melodies and pure sweetness. A smile spread across his face from ear to ear, as his eyes grew brighter with excitement running through his veins.

The sun's heat on his bare skin, with a calming breeze washing over to keep him cool for the day. With the sounds of aggressive waves crashing on the rocks, with the radio blurring out people's chatters.

It was more than a perfect day. It was delightful, cheerful, and memorable.

Anahera came running towards them, arms wide open- so easy to see how wonderful of a friend she truly is. Her arms wrap around his body, and the tension he was holding felt out of ease. The amount of warmth and love she had was easy to find from her cuddly embrace.

Calum hugged her back, before they disconnected themselves. Anahera placed her arm around Calum, as she blabbered about the food.

"You've got to try the chocolate cake! It's the best!" She giggled loudly, pointing at the enormous cake sitting at the centre of the elongated table. "But before that- you've got to try the fried chicken- oh and don't forget about the BBQ kebabs!" She kept going.

"Okay! I get it- Ana!" Calum laughed at her bubbly and joyous mood.

It was his voice that made the kids stop on their tracks.

The ladies chatters going in an isolated silence, with the radio suddenly stuttering it's signal lost. All eyes focused on Calum and Anahera (who was still laughing her head off). She was choking her words, as she tried to grab for something to hold on. She was still laughing, and couldn't stop the ever erupting giggles that came out of her mouth.

It took Anahera forever to stop laughing as she grew a scarlet red, noticing everyone staring at the two. They all stood there awkwardly, the waves crashing in the background and the radio finally starting up again.

"This is Calum, everyone!" Arorangi introduced her grandson, with pearly whites all around.

No one screamed and ran up to him, nor did anyone show any excitement. All they did was give him a sympathetic smile, and continued their activities.

Calum felt a pang on his stomach, as everyone turned their backs away from him. It was as if they were disappointed.

Arorangi and Anahera frowned at the reactions from all, as Calum kept his eyes on the ground.

"Koro." His grandmother mumbled.

"What about me?" A voice spoke up.
