I drove to Aunt Jasmin's house to pick up Tyler. On the drive there I was pretty upset at what Rose said but I couldn't blame her, she was right. I'll apologize another time, I have more important stuff to do right now. I parked the car on the curve of Aunt Jasmin's house. Slowly, I made my way up the stairs and knocked. I plan on having some alone time with Tyler. I really don't feel like meeting up with Peter.
"Ah! Well hello there, Katy. Tyler and I were just playing pirates. Care to join us?" Aunt Jasmin said after opening the door.
"Sissy!" Tyler shouted as he embraced me in a hug.
"Hey, buddy. How'd it go?" I asked.
"Come here." Tyler whispered and waved his hand signaling me to get closer. I leaned in to listen and he said, "She made me eat healthy icky stuff. I don't like when she cooks. I like your cooking better."
I laughed and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Gather all your stuff so that I can cook something up for ya." I told him before looking at Aunt Jasmin.
"Broccoli, is what was served. He didn't throw a fit or anything just made nasty faces as he ate it. He is just something else." Aunt Jasmin explained.
"Thank you so much. I really hope he didn't cause any trouble." I said to her.
"He was no trouble just remember, if you need me to look after him at anytime, don't hesitate to call. " She offered.
Just then Tyler ran up to us with his bag. "Sissy! I want to be a pirate for Halloween this year!"
"A pirate?" I asked as I took his bag from his hand. "Again, thank you so much. Tyler say 'thank you' to Aunt Jasmin"

I decided that it was finally time to take Tyler to buy his Halloween costume. And heck, I'm probably going to get one for myself while I'm at it. What to get what to get? I stationed my car and asked Tyler once more what he wanted to be and he replied "Pirate! I wanna be a pirate, Sissy!"I sighed and unhooked Tyler form his car seat. Oh boy. Once we were inside I automatically searched for the kid section. I don't want him to start freaking out because of all the props.
"Sissy! I changed my mind! I want to be a rock star!"
Well I guess it wont hurt to let him be what he wants. So I guess he's gonna be a rock star. I skimmed around in search of the costume but didn't find a single one. Well I guess I'm going to have to improvise.
"Bubba, what do you think I should be for Halloween?" I asked him.
"You should be a girl rock star!" He said with twinkles in his eyes.
Well its settled, I'm going to be a girl rock star. I'd rather not buy anything from this stupid store because the prices are hella high. Time to hit the thrift store.

"Sissy! This jacket is too big!"
"Alright come out so that I can see it!" I shouted from the other side of the door. The dressing room door slowly opened and out came a very short wanna be rock star. Finding the skinny jeans and boots were most difficult but a plain tee with a leather jacket was easier.
"I'll be able to sew that up for you because that ties the whole costume together nicely." I said to him as I inspected him. I'm going to have to glue some spikes to his jacket and jeans. I guess the look I'm shooting for is more punk.
"I want spikey hair! And you should have spikey hair too! Can Peter dress up like a rock star too?" Tyler babbled on.
I stopped listening to what he was saying right after he mentioned Peter. I don't want to think about him but its too late now.
"Your son is too cute!" Said an elder lady. I snapped back to reality and simply smiled. I didn't want to correct her. People mistake him for my son all the time. I don't get bothered anymore.
"Alright, go back in there and change so that we can go pay for this." I told Tyler as I began to put back the items we were no longer going to need.Sometimes I feel like I need to give Tyler more of my attention to make up for the one he's missing out from Mom and Dad. It just isn't fair for him. He is just so innocent and nice. Once Tyler exited the dressing room I carried everything to the counter.
After this we're definitely heading to the craft store for some spikes and chains. I thanked the sales associated proceeded to take my stuff and exited the store.
"Bubba, are you hungry?" I asked Tyler as I put the bags in the trunk.
"Not really, sissy. OOO! Can I have green hair for the costume?" Since I want Tyler to be happy I had no problem saying "no" to the little guy.
"Anything for you Bubba. But first we're going to buy the spikes then we'll buy the dye."
Of course I'm not actually going to dye his hair but buy temporary spray.
